Edit: I got this feedback: "I don’t feel the NMM at all. Looks too blue."
It was supposed to be a blue shiny armor. Any ideas how I should have painted it differently to achieve that effect? Blue like this . Maybe more areas blue and less white areas?

When I want to paint metallic, colored NMM ...

This one is SOOOO AWESOME ...

Strands of hair would be a great idea, but I'm not sure how to do it... Maybe some 0,3mm metal wire or something...


I do it with really thinly rolled pieces of green stuff that when I attach them I "shape" a sepration in them turning it into two strands.

Regarding the primer - try P3 paints ...

Almost ready to paint. I still need to sand the cape behind the spear, do something for the spear itself and remove the greenstuff from his hair. And some other small things. Nothing is glued yet.

And then there is the base... Only some rough ideas so far.

Here's mine entry, converted Hammer Guardian from Gamezone ( lad on the right ). The shield's rim just need some fixing. I just hope I have some time to paint it and show up the pics since I'm moving to southern Finland in this week and I'm not sure when I get the connection back to the cyberspace ...

Bad news - I probably can't do the Manhunter because of the heatwave here (resin becomes impossible to shape) and his right hanging thing is really bent.

Will see what I can find instead...

LOL! I know - for such beautiful minis I should have played more than one faction... but the Westerners really appealed to me and I went with ...

@Day - Ugh...most of those minis were painted 2 years ago so they don't count...
