The spawn falls by the hand of the tomb prince, who then buggers off, knowing that his work is done. Treasure? What treasure? Who gives a damn about any treasure, he's got a pyramid full of gold waiting back home. It's those all-important (un)life experiences that matter.

Heads up! Forgot to mention, but I'm on a late shift today, so won't be able to make it to the game.

Wow, my current shifts are freaking terrible. Next week, and the one after that are both late shifts, so I'll be missing games for two more times. Neat!

Re: [Mordheim] Campaign 2015 - Ashes
Oh nooooooooooooo
meanwhile:
"Warlock Engineer Adept Ratnip has received courier from the Skavenblight. The Clan Skyre engineers are satisfied with his success and praise him for successfully testing out and further engineering the old Jezzail Rifle. As the expedition to Mordheim progressed for Warlock Engineer Ratnip, he and his (somewhat) trusty engineers managed to further develop Jezzail into Razzail Rifle. Now, with the word reaching skavenblight about Ratnip's new inventions he is called back to his Clan along with the warband he had gathered. Gathering his plans and Razzail Rifles, Ratnip and his Warband leave Mordheim and venture into Skavenblight where he and his engineers are promoted into "proper" Warlock Engineers while rest of the warband is eaten in order to preserve the clan's secrets.
Meanwhile, the Skyre Council has developed a mechanical Frame for a project "Metal Ratgore" and sends a warband to accompany it into city of Mordheim. There the newly-appointed Warlock Engineer Adept Skitsvik will oversee Metal Ratgore's progress and further upgrade it in order to complete it's field trial and expedition. What happens to the Metal Ratgore and Skitsvik? We'll see...."
Skaven Clan Skyre warband "Razzail Party" retires from action!
Instead, Warband "Metal Ratgore" will enter the fight for Warpstone and (somewhat dubious) Glory!
Jezzails have been tested, seen and found REALLY annoying (from the enemy's point of view). Now we shall see what happens when the Augmented Rat Ogre comes to play!
Next Scenario: Vandalism!

Re: [Mordheim] Campaign 2015 - Ashes
Edit: My english is... incomplete. Typos fixed, sentences corrected. Still cringeworthy tho.Scenario: Vandalizing!
Your warband has been approached by shadowy individual. He has come to the warband with contract to destroy rival trade guild's storehouses. For this deed the individual's guild offers sizeable bounty. However as the Warband accepts and reaches the rival guild's storehouses they find that they are not the only warband that has been contracted...
Terrain
Each player takes it in turn to place a piece of terrain, either a building, ruin or hedge. At least 60% of the game board should be covered in buildings and there should be more than 15 pieces of terrain.
Special Rule
The Warbands are trying to se the buildings aflame. To do this, you must move one of your non-animal models base-to-base with the building and take a Weapon Skill test. If the test is successful, then the model has successfully lit the building aflame. Place colored bead or other appropriate counter to represent that the building has been set ablaze and add "Set Aflame" reward to your warband roster. Both Heroes and Henchmen can set buildings ablaze.
If there were any models inside the building when it was set ablaze then they take automatic S2 hit. Any Stunned results caused by this hit take the model automatically Out of Action (imagine the model getting pinned by burning logs or trapped by the fire). Every time a model moves or ends it's movement inside building that has been lit aflame it takes another S4 hit with Stunned result modifier as described above. (So if you had model inside the building when it was set ablaze you'd take automatic S2 hit and another S4 hit if you stayed inside it or moved out during your next movement phase as the flames climb ever higher)
Instead of Setting the building aflame, you can choose to sack it for valuables. After all, this is storehouse so there's bound to be somthing of value here!
Take Initiative test to see if you find anything. If you are successful then roll on the "Sack the Building" table. A building can be sacked only once per turn, but you can attempt to sack it with multiple heroes. Only heroes can attempt to sack a building, Henchment wound't be able to identify valuable loot!
Set-up
As usual.
Starting the Game
According to card picks as usual.
Ending the Game
The game ends when all warbands but one have
failed their Rout test OR when one warband has set aflame total of 8 buildings.
The winning warband is either the one who is last standing (we assume they finish the contract and set other buildings aflame) or the warband that has set 8 buildings aflame (as the contract has been fulfilled and the warband rallies off to cash in the reward). Winning warband gains Contract Reward.
Experience
+1 Survives. If a Hero or Henchman group
survives the battle they gain +1 Experience.
+1 Winning Leader. The leader of the winning
warband(s) gains +1 Experience.
+1 Per Enemy Out of Action. Any Hero earns +1 Experience for each enemy he puts out of
action.
+1 Firestarter: Any Hero earns +1 Experience for setting building ablaze
Rewards:
"Sack the Building"
1: Rats and other not-so-friendly creatures - The searching model takes S2 hit
2-3: Rations, food and suchlike - Add 5+D6 Gold Crowns to your warband's hoard
4-5: Valuables, luxuries, spices - Add 10+D6 Gold Crowns to your Warband's hoard
6: Weapons and armor - Choose either 4 Daggers, Sword, Flail or Spear
"Set Aflame"
Add 10 gold crowns to your warband inventory after the game has ended
"Contract Reward"
The warband adds additional 25 gold to it's inventory and may reroll 1 dice to determine how much warpstone they have found.
Edit 2: How many of us would be coming tomorrow?

Re: [Mordheim] Campaign 2015 - Ashes
Cruel hands of fate draw me away from Mordheim again :C
So me and varapalmus would be away, each doing their own things.
That would leave Salsa, Sutenööri and Heresybruh.
We need reinforcements! Are there new players willing to come join (and maul) us?!

Re: [Mordheim] Campaign 2015 - Ashes
Hi,
I'm considering that perhaps we should stop the current Mordheim Campaign, because we are a bit scattered and the Holiday session is going to start soon.
But we could start planning the next one. The other day Juha and I were discussing about a different system, a "Map Campaing" with the map of the Mordheim city. Some ideas:
- The Mordheim map is divided in X zones
- Every player starts controling a number of zones, but at the begining of the Campaign some of them are "neutral" (just a single line between the players' areas of influence)
- Every week the players send their movements, and there are several possibilities: 1) if the attacked area is neutral, the attacker automatically takes control. 2) if the attacked area is neutral, but two players attack it simultaneusly, both players play a classical Mordheim game. 3) Idem when you attack an enemy area. 4) when more than 2 players attack one specific area, a multiplayer game is played.
(...)
Indeed we can also included some kind of economy (i.e. each area provides X gold at the end of the Campaign turn).
What do you think? (about finishing now the current campaign, and about the new possible one)
Examples:
