The Assassin vs the Gambler!

Lack of decent sleep left Gambler's team in shambles, as perceived immortality of df +3 redirection misaki loomed overhead, and none dared to attack after one particular "accident" with Huggy. Nevertheless, the Gambler gambled himself even by scaring the bajeesus out of Ninjas after they rolled massive damage rolls (by forgetting that some particular models had terrifying, and only reminding of them after cards have been drawn)

Ah, also. We had 3rd player join us, since the Cards played their own game: Ototo drew 13 ram with enrage mode, to beguiler's black joker, only to be followed by black joker on Ototo's damage draw. Or crucial last turn starting initiative drew 2 and 2 to draw, and then 3 and 2.

In the end, the Cursed object bounced enough hands and Line has been Drawn, so the game ended with 5 point difference for Misaki and her merry bedroom assassins and actual assassins.

protip #1: Dont take easily killed/unarmored troops against Sonia
protip #2: Sonia has longer range than you expect. Even the one you expect that you dont expect.
protip #3: Never clump pple together (within 5") when against Sonia Criid
protip #4: dont use all of your soulstones and cards before attacking Redirection misaki who is in melee with half of your guys
protip #4.5: rule 4 applies also when misaki runs out of soulstones (which she can do whenever she likes)
protip #5: dont set up mr boom boom (papa loco) in the middle of your allies while rule #4 applies

Actually, you killed the dog with one of your archers.

Sonia incinerated my poor peon, the Purifying Flame, which engaged Misaki afterwards; but not the dog! :)

EDITED:

On the other hand, the difference of VP was 3 (5 vs 2). Remember, you were not able to kill 2 of my models in the same turn (I had 5 casualties....but 3 of them were victims of my own attacks haha; the dog and Sonia were killed by your guys, but in different turns). So nothing from Reckoning for Ten Thunders :(; thus the final result is 7-3.

There was some slight misreading on some schemes on my part so the ressers were a bit confused at the end of the game D:

5-5 draw

Fourth round, Teemu (Neverborn) vs. Jere (Ten Thunders).

Game basically ended on turn three with all the Ten Thunder's models (barring one Illluminated) being either dead or paralyzed, while the only Neverborn casualties were models that had been summoned on top of turn 1. After that it was mostly just cleaning up stuff. The last two rounds went super quick (turn five saw only two models move to grab full points for Outflank).

Victory points: 10 for Teemu, 3 for Jere
Game result: Neverborn won with a 9-1 league point difference.

...And so, Misaki arrived 3 days late to the area they were tasked to defend, only to find that Neverborn already left with all the opium, goods and customers in the area. Mortified, Misaki commanded Oiran to approach raided opium caves only to see the beautiful servant-assassin grabbed by foul neverborn tentacle moster before disappearing to the night.
The unfortunate Oiran's screaming was the only sound that accompanied Ten Thunders during their retreat

Due to unfortunate timing and lack of opportunities to play the game in given playtime, Ten Thunders are forced to concede to the Neverborn.
