Turn of the tide
Radio hissed, crakling it was hard to hear the message but Julius managed to hear the most important news.
´...Blood Ang... here... prepare... advance... Piet out...´ Julius nodded to the soldier who carried the vox. As the soldier left back to his unit Julius turned to look at the Junior Officer who was further down the battlements, issuing orders and repositioning tanks.
Probably he might want to know that Blood Angels are here so he can assemble troops quickly for advance... Though Julius as he started jogging towards the officer.
´Get those tanks warm! And all of you soldiers of the Imperial Guard, gather your kits in the name of the Emperor, now!´ shouted Joe Tridden, his parade-ground voice piercing the noise what they cause.
´Sir! Blood Angels have arrivied already and are making their way at here. Your orders are to assemble troops for the incoming advance.´ said the voice behind him.
´What do you think I’m bloody doing?!´ he snapped back and turned to see Julius. Julius nodded in agreement.
´Thought it would be good to make sure you know what is happening.´
´Yeah.. Did they tell anything more like how many marines are coming for our aid.´ asked Joe as he dig two lho-sticks from his breast pocket and tossed another for Julius who nodded his thanks.
´Nope, but we’ll see it then eh?´ stated Julius who now gave light for Joe’s lho-stick and then lighted his own and took a long suck from his lho-stick.
´Aye.´ muttered Joe between his teeth.

Captain Coridus watched from the window of the bridge of the battle-barge Stigma. It was stirring sight to behold when they came out of the warp. First there were been blackness endlessly and now he watched at the millions of stars. Each one holding planets waiting to been conquered. He chuckled, thinking the fight at the Testra III.
Ah the humanity... He thought as he left the bridge.

´I am Brother-Captain Thyrganian from the 2nd company of the 9th Blood Angles chapter. Who is at charge down here.´ said the marine who was over 2 metres tall. His sturdy and stupendous face didn’t looked at Joe with respect. Joe was amazed and didn’t realise to speak. Julius stepped between the two men, stopping the space marine captain to get irritated by Joe’s lack of concentrate.
´He is sir. I am a veteran sergeant Julius Haleng. I am honored by your presence and by your words.´ said Julius, kneeling before the captain before being gestured to rise.
´And I am honored to see such an veteran to been alive still.´ Thyrganian said, looking down at the medal which clinged in Julius coat.
´Commissar Piet told me a lot of interesting things about you. But I must wonder why you pleaded Ichaan VII to been extarminated?´
´Um, didn’t my explanations come through? Planet was taken over by-´ Julius said as Thyrganian stopped him.
´We did receive your explanations but the planet was already exterminated.´
´What?! How can that be? Do you have any idea who might have done that?´ Julius asked.
´We don’t have any idea. But Inquisitor thinks that it might not have been any other Inquisitor group for the viruses which were unleashed by the virusbombs were so old that their sensors didn’t even identify them. So you see as those old bombs are so rare and no-one knows how they are made we have to suspect at the traitors.´ captain replied.
´I guess that could have happened after we left that planet.´ Julius said.
´Aye soldier but we must now concentrate our attention to the orks. As we are the forward force we consist 150 marines and 15 tanks. Three Land Raiders which one of them is ‘Crusader’ pattern, two Predators which are ‘Baal’ pattern. And the rest are Rhinos.´ space marine captain said, turning his gaze to the south-east where were the orks. The city seemed to been filling with strange fog, for it was all clear half an hour ago and now it bathed in thick fog where you couldn’t see anything before it’s too late.
´Odd...´ muttered Julius as he watched the fog too.
´It seems to be very thick and we have done analyses and we know that this kind of a fog is unnatural. There is something evil behind it. Alarm your men and I will see where should our battle-brothers strike if they need to.´ Thyrganian said as he nodded and left towards his group.
´Hope you heard it old mate.. Joe? Joe?! Where have that sneaky git gone.´ Julius murmured. Suddenly there were the sounds of the hundreads of the lasguns fired and then the orks revealed themself.
´WAAAAAAGH!!!!!!´
The fog dissipatied oddly quickly as if like the power of their warcry scared it away, but unfortunately they did get too close with the fog concealing them.
But what had kept them from yelling... Julius wondered and then he felt terror settle in his heart. Huge ork was leading them, it was bigger than any marine known and Julius realised that he couldn’t depatch such an monster. Probably the big ork had kept the rest of the orks from bellowing.
8i]Maybe orks aren’t that stupid but they are filthy aliens and in the name of the Emperor we have to destroy them![/i] Julius thinked and spat. Then the sound of the battle were accompanied with the roar of the assault cannons. Julius sighed in relief as he remembered the Astartes. He caught in the corner of his eye a glimpse of the red armoured figure leading into the fray a dozen or more some black armoured marines. Marine group hit the ork mob, their weapons rising and dropping down in a deadly arc, killing always ork or two, firing their bolt pistols within two arm-lengths away blowing the faces of the orks. He saw Thyrganian had unsheated his sword and hacked his way through the mob towards the big ork.
´That big ork is mine!´ Thyrganian yelled in his internal com-link. He thrusted his sword at another ork, killing it. He punched his fist at another ork, turning its face in to a jelly pulp. The big ork had noticed him too and was making its way towards him, hacking orks to clear its path. Then, both of them managed to get into a clear spot in the green ocean. They studied each other, trying to find a weakness. As an experienced warrior, Thyrganian saw the spot where he would deliver his deadly blow. But to get a clear sight there was hard. The orks gleaming red eyes caught his eyes. The tension could be felt in the air, the fight around them seemed to stop. Then, both darted forward. It seemed to be happening in slow motion as the ork lifted its claw and brought it down. Thyrganian managed to parry the blow with his sword. The crackling sound of two power weapons clashing echoed over the battle-zone. He punched his fist, its power squashing armour plates but it didn’t hurt the ork who now laughed at his face. He kept his rage at bay and stepped back. Again they studied each other, but Thyrganian increased the power of his power-glove. It started whining as the energy grew, shaking him little. Ork bellowed and fired its pistol as it charged. Bullets rang off on Thyrganian armour, who readied himself to block the sweep of the claw. Ork still fired its pistol as it swung its claw. Some lucky hit managed to pierce Thyrganian armour, scratching his knee who kneeled, grinning he realised that bullet had drawn blood. The swung went right atop his head. Ork hadn’t prepared for this and it spun as the weight of his claw dragged it. Thyrganian glanced up and saw his oppoturnity to kill his opponent. He smashed his whining power-glove at the orks knee. Ork bellowed in pain as its kneecap splintered in thousand pieces under its skin. Thyrganians glove stopped the whining, its energy spent and he thrusted his power sword towards the exposed armpit of the ork, his hatred giving him strenght he drove it deep until the hilt remained. The ork wheezed and slumbered to the ground, sword still clutched in its body. Orks pierced heart didn’t anymore pump life-blood into its body and it squeezed its eyes shut, having the last vision of the figure who’s glove started whining again and drew it back for a strike.
Thyrganian readjusted the power of his glove and wiped some of the gore from his hand. The Death Company’s men gathered around him. He counted, coming up with two marines had died and one had been fatally wounded.
´We need Apothecary.´ he voxed. Marines around him turned their gazes from the wounded marine at him. Soon came the Apothecary, jogging with his servitors.
´Check him out, and if necessary, prepare him for the excision of the Progenoid Glands.´ Thyrganian said. The Apothecary nodded and kneeled next to the wounded marine. Thyrganian nodded to the marines and left towards the first line which was held by the humans.

Captain Coridus clapped his hands, his tone was rich of hideous, good humor.
´They will never know what hit them. My master has an personal quarrel with the Adeptus Astartes who are helping those pathetic humans. Once we’ve done with them we shall leave and you can keep the planet.´
The ork Warboss looked him, bit puzzled.
´I will accept your Lord’s proposition.´ the ork said after it had thinked it over. Though Coridus wouldn’t have managed to get any idea of the orks words if it wouldn’t been the old translation system in his helmet which turned any odd language into a dark, gothic imperial tone. He was proud of this piece of treasure.
´I will make sure you won’t regret your decision. But my Master is anxious to heard about me so I shall return to our ship. We shall meet again on the surface of the Testra III.´ Coridus said, nodded and left back to the docking area with his bodyguard. He entered the large hall where were his shuttle. He walked to the ramp and clanced back.
Those credulous alien bastards will not never realise what hit them... He though and entered his shuttle.
As the shuttles engines screamed to life it rose and with scream it flew away from the hulk the orks had colonized for their use. Coridus watched at the battle-barge Stigma and was pleased to think those dark desires which he had on the battle-barge. Then he caught a climpse of the second battle-barge, Abattoir it was called. There were his rivaling captain, Thelacan. He shrugged.
That young-blood is too much attented to the path of the Blood God. It’ll be a matter of a time before he is succumbed under the full power of the Khorne and become a faceless berzerk...
Then the vox came alive, visual image appeared over the holoflector. Coridus grinned inside his helmet as he saw Thelacan.
´How was your mission my brother. Do we get down onto the planet to do our Masters will?´ Thelacan asked, anxiety reflecting from his tone. He hold his double-handed axe on his left hand.
´Aye, we will go down onto the planet and do our Masters will.´ Coridus replied. Thelacan gripped his axe with both hands.
´I shall first speak with our Master.´
´We shall meet on the planet.´ Thelacan replied and faded away as the connection was flicked off. Coridus was too anxious to get back to the fighting again. He chuckled.

Mutta kritiikki sikseen, tarina oli hyvä, tosin tuota taistelua olisit voinut pitkittää kertomalla yksityiskohtia ja sen semmoista. Annan sinulle skaalalla 1-5, 4 hymiötä
