I wasn't there for the Entire Q&A session but this is what I heard
while I was there.

First off The Eye of Terror

We were given a quick over view of The Eye of Terror Campaign.
Appearently GW is doing there best to keep from getting a repeat of
the Armageddon results. It's described in the latest WD better then I
can explain it. But on a small note. GW will be giving out evenyt
cards to winners of events and to people they believe are going beyond
the call of duty for the hobby. These cards can range from the
additions or renforcement to a war zone to the destruction of a
planet. This I think could be cool.

Next: New IG Codex

Generally all the rummors are true. Armoured Company will be getting
their own sub- codex. Griffons out of the codex but might so up in
Codex: Armoured Company. Doctrines will allow u to make your own
Regiment. U will be able to take up 5 doctrine. The Hell hound will no
longer have the auto-pen and will get front armour 13.

Next: Codex Witch Hunter

The Witch Hunter Codex is the next Ordo to get a codex. It's currently
in the later stages of developement. It will have the sisters. Philly
Kelly said that the Sisters players will be very happy.

Misc:

-Harilqiuns might be in the next Eldar codex or will get their own
sub-dex but not for a long time.

-The Tau sniper is an Pathfinder up grade. It's deffinately ap3 and is
called a Railrifle.

-The New Armour rules will be out soon.

-Don't expect to see the 4th edtion anytime soon. Their looking at all
the sections( moral, shooting, moving) and it's not going to be out
soon. It will be compatible with the current Codexii

Lisätietoa ja varmistuksia tulevasta. Lähde: http://www.gamingreport.com/article.php?sid=9026
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Games Day Baltimore revealed a lot of exciting new models and rulebooks coming from Games Workshop and its subsidiaries.
These are some of the highlights.

Warhammer 40,000
We now have plastics for IG Catachans and IG Cadians. The next Guard plastics likely will be the long coat, gothic style IG (like Steel Legion) sometime in the future.

Scheduled for late 03 and early 04 are:

-Cadian battleforce.

-Cadian army box

-Imperial Tank accessories sprue. This includes dozer blades and a pintle-mounted heavy stubber which looks a bit like a modern day 50-cal machine gun.

-IG plastic heavy weapons teams (3 to a set).

-New command squads for IG which will include techpriests, psykers, commissars and preachers. (According to 40K
Overfiend Andy Chambers, the studio is happy with the commissar sculpts as they are so there will be no new ones for a time.)

-Kasrkin stormtroopers in metal.

-New snipers (humans, not ratlings) and medics.

-Plastic Catachan heavy weapons teams.

-Tau Pathfinder with Rail Rifle in Sept.

Codex: Imperial Guard

-1st half of the book will be in color.

-New rules will cover the pintle-mounted heavy stubber, vox operators and regimental doctrines. These are rules to customize your regiments (sort of like the custom Tyranids). For example, ?close order drill? gives a bonus to initiative and leadership in assault so long as soldiers are in base-to-base contact. Meltas and plasmas for IG will cost more points to represent their rarity.

Heavy Armor
-Leman Russ, Basilisk and Chimera will all be re-released with the new tank accessory sprue and new box art. Next year, we could see a new all plastic Hellhound, but that?s not definite.

Codex: Witch Hunters

-Release scheduled for early 04.

-Sisters models will be metal, not plastic. The reasoning, given by Chambers, was that plastics would require a complete redesign of the sisters sculpt, and, since they were happy with the current look, they will stay metal.

-New Sister Superior, Sister Icon Bearer, Seraphim Sister Superior.

-A female inquisitor model is likely.

-BS is likely to be increased.

Other Bits

-Two Iron Hands Space Marines were on display. Probably won?t see these until 04.

-Andy Chambers has sounded the death knell on the Rhino rush tactic, so use it while you still can. In the near future, you will no longer be able to move, disembark and assault on the same turn.

-In the future, when Codex: Space Marines is redone, Chambers said there will be a section (not unlike in Codex: Tyranids) of chapter traits to design your own chapter. There will still be Codices for Dark Angels, Space Wolves, etc.

-Plastic Wave Serpent sometime in 04.

-Squats? "Squats are dead," said Chambers. "Get over it."

Forgeworld
-Imperial Pre-Heresy Dreadnought was unfinished at the show, but showed excellent promise.

Fanatic
-Necromunda Enforcer Patrol Team (these guys are Adeptus Arbites for all intents and purposes) UK 10/03

-Necromunda Bounty Hunters UK 1/04

-Inquisitor Navigator.

-Inquisitor Tau in progress.
