Confirmed Hellcannon rules
Well, mostly confirmed:
- Causes Terror.
- Rare (obviously). Costs 285 points according to Aleeha.
- Restricted to Archaon's Marauder horde (i.e. it won't be showing up
in all those Chosen Knights of Khorne armies...thankfully).
- Fires like a stone thrower, hits with the smaller template; any unit
(s) hit may choose to flee. If they stay, you get to whip out the
Ordnance template. Anything under the "small" template takes a S10
hit, anything under the Ordnance template (but not under the smaller
blast template) takes a S5 hit.
- Eats crew on Misfires (a la Lizzie Salamanders).
- If there are enemies in 2D6", charges them (though this may only
take place _if_ the cannon becomes crew-less - alternatively the
cannon becomes next to useless against armies with flyers/fast
cavalry/Scouts after the first turn).
- Unconfirmed rumour entails the cannon being able to
charge "friendlies". I'm assuming this happens only if it hasn't any
crew left.
