Though this forum seems to be all in Finnish I am pretty confident you are all fluent in English as well.

I'm looking to get to know a few local players, in their twenties, to meet up every so often for a game. I've been to the local Games Workshop on Wednesdays, their fantasy days, and managed to squeeze in a game with the locals. Problem is that it's all teenagers.

I don't have a problem with teenagers, it's just that they tend to have a shallow grasp of the rules and often maturity issues, which unfortunately make the games less enjoyable. Also, like in today's session, daddy came to pick up my opponent and we had to cut the game short. One can imagine that was a little anti-climactic.

So if you are in Helsinki, play Warhammer Fantasy, have your own army, can come out and play after 6pm, then lets meet up for a coffee and maybe schedule a battle on my kitchen table for a later date, or your place, no biggie for me.

I'm 29, Canadian, play Orcs and Goblins, living in Helsinki for the last 8 months.

Are you aware of our fine gaming club Nopat & Taktiikka (http://www.nopat.fi/)? Most of our members are pretty fluent english speakers. I myself play Skavens, Dark Angles and Flames of War, so should you be interested we can arrange a game at the club so you can check the place out. The club is located at Lauttasaari.
