Hi. When the model came out, I was happy. I really loved painting it. So here it is.
Here is my awsome hellbrute!

Nice model but the Corsairs' other colour, black, seems to be missing altogether. With brass rims it might as well (or even more so) be a World Eaters Helbrute.

I paint my troops as black, I dont want the HQ or Elite to have black, since then they will not be special.

I especially like the back of the Helbrute. For some reason it reminds me of the Rogue Trader era. I can't really say why, but it's probably because of the old, white Android figure that was the predecessor of modern Necrons.

I was going to mention Huron's lack of black too, but now I understand your logic. I was considering the Red Corsairs theme for my Chaos troops before I was taken (and branded with a hydra symbol) by some really clandestine types. What I really liked about the Corsairs' theme was the mix of red and black, which can be a very dramatic combination.

Huron's rims look like they need a wash, by the way.
