Warmachine/Hordes tournament in Espoo 30.8. - 1.9.2013
The tournament will be played in a 150 m2 seaside cabin in Espoo 35 km west from Helsinki. There is a cabin building, a separate sauna building, small grill, large forest and a lake full of kuha.
Tournament fee is 90 euros (this year the cabin isn't free so unfortunately we have to pay rent). The tournament fee includes full upkeep for the weekend! That means free transport to/from Helsinki, breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper, sausages, children's drinks, adult's drinks etc etc!
The tournament is aimed in addition to finns, any foreigners who want to experience a weekend's worth of finnish culture in the form of a cabin holiday.
Timetable
Friday
17:00 -> Arriving. Practice games, sauna, metagaming etc..
Saturday:
11:00 - 13:30 1. Game
13:30 - 14:00 Lunch
14:00 - 16:30 2. Game
17:00 - 07:00 Time for pickup games, WTC meta and practice and of course sauna + beer
Sunday:
9:00 - 11:30 3. Game
11:30 - 12:00 Lunch
12:00 - 14:30 4. Game
15:00 - 19:00 packing, cleaning, chilling and leaving to Helsinki
Registration
There are only places for 16 people this year (and more people invited than previous years!) so be fast!
Send e-mail to tero.sarkijarvi [at] gmail [dot] com, state your name and that's it. Finnish people can pay the tournament fee, international attendees can pay it in cash at the venue.
Don't bother with international money transfers if it's going to cost you transaction fees etc.
Foreigners get places before any finnish registrants if they register before the 15th of August.
Rules:
Each player brings 1-2 lists at 50 pts. SR2013 with the following changes:
* 60 min deathclock, where deployment is part of your time
* If using two lists, both lists must be used at least once
Sauna
Bring a towel. If you're brave enough you can swim in the sea. It shouldn't be that frozen in august.
Spending the night
There is floor space available. Bring your own sleeping pads and sleeping bags. There are some mattresses available for the quick and lucky. The nearest hotel is ~30 km driving distance away.
