I'm just going to keep the preramble short so unto the games...
1st Game vs Italy White's Dario Stabellini
Dario had Saeryn and eVayl. Saeryn is usually considered an anti-cryx drop in Legion and I was expecting her. I chose pDeneghra for this matchup as she is tested as a really good matchup against Saeryn and should do well against eVayl as well. Dario dropped eVayl, which wasn't a problem because he would have to commit to the scenario anyway so I could get to his beasts with my army.
He went first and I got to pick as side with a central building for Deneghra to feat behind.
He ran first turn, while I got some shots off to no effect. Mainly I just stayed out of his threat ranges with my important stuff and advanced ready to feat next turn.
He luckily got rid of gorman and one of my sirens and a few other models which was not nice but could've been so much worse. He's legionnaires moved to a central position ready to threaten my forces. Also he killed a bunch of them to spawn a shredder.
On my second turn I moved my arcnode up to block LOS from the other side of the building and within 8" of his other ravagore. Denny moved up, feated and got the 3 to hit the ravagore with a parasite. She camped 4 behind a building. I got everything in the feat except for Vayl who was keeping way back. My skarlock was just out of range to put a grippling grasp on an angelius, who would've probably died. I proceeded to kill the ravagore and half the angelius, with my withershadow taking 3 souls from firing at the legionnaires. I thought I could always use the souls for something. Boomhowler charged up and gave 3 of his beasts -2 to hit for a total of -4. My mechanithralls who had doubled in size ran to the centre to hurt some stuff next turn.
I got a decent feat and was already way up on attrition so Dario said he needs to go for the assassination. I thought I had it in the bag, until he proceeded to hit my screening deathripper with a RAT 3 ravagore shot, made 2 damage to Denny from the blast damage and got her on fire. After that he made a shredder from the pot, which ran to arc spells at Denny. Vayl came up, hit the shredder, feated and proceeded to hit a boosted Icy Grip and two boosted Obliterations with a little bit over average damage rolls to end the game on his favor. Apparently 20/18 isn't a good enough stat line to take eVayl's assassination. After our team made room for a judge-sized ruling in our collective buttholes in another game, we went on to lose 2-3 to Italy. What a way to start the WTC!
2nd Game vs Hungary Red's János Kendi
Janos had the Harbinger and Feora2. I didn't know what to expect but I figured I want to play my second list in this matchup as both lists had quite a lot of heavy armor. Also the Harbinger had a Judicator on Tristan so if I could get my Satyxis on his Judicator it would be out for at least a round. He chose Harbinger vs my Asphyxious2.

He basically had his 3 paladins screening the judicator for the whole game while my banes where on the other side of my corrosion cloud wall from them. They were taking single points of damage from corrosion. Meanwhile I made some kills on the sides and eventually my bane knights and satyxis came around from both sides to score some reasonable disables (not kills because of Harbinger) on Tristan, the covenant, Rhoven & Co so he had to martyr most of his hit points away. My helldiver finished harby with a double boosted attack. Not my game plan but I'll take it.. I was on the road to winning anyway as he ran out of room (and Harbys hitpoints) to avoid my banes any longer.
3rd Game vs Germany Red's Daniel Hostert
There's a video that I'll link about this game but it basiacally came down to me dominating his Harbinger list with my pDeneghra as pictured below. You would think that's a win, but no.. I blame Sami for this one.
