[Mordheim] Campaign 2015 - Ashes

Hi,
After the Carnival of Chaos destroyed everything, including the Warhammer world, we have decided to reboot the
Mordheim Campaign. So, if you were waiting for this, now is the time to enroll!
I think old player will continue, so we have five players at the moment. Write here if you want to join us! :)

Once more I'm recycling the old Jarva´s openning message and
general rules:
- The campaign games are held on every
Monday at 16.00-19.00 in
Joensuu's Fantasiapelit. The campaign starts at Mach 9th, that´s next week.
- The campaign uses ”
Revisions”
house rule set (you can download the package (including rules and warbands) from this
link). Ignore this part of the house rules: “Never may more than 2/3 of the warriors of a warband carry a missile weapon with range more than 12". So check it out before you start your warband! Any warband that are commonly accepted are ok to play. Ask if you are unsure.[b
- If everybody agree we can use
secondary mission cards (you can download them
here). The decks are in Fantasiapelit.
- Addons? I think we should give up to use Coreheim because of the difficulties we can find playing multiplayer or non-common warbands.

Welcome to the Hunt!
The Cycle turns, and the kings and pawns return to their seats. The Shadow City of Mordheim, the City of the Damned once again bustles with life as warbands hunt for Wyrdstone shards that rained down from the Falling Moon. The Carnival of Chaos rampaged across the city, destroying warband after warband until their eventual disappearance to the Pit. Whatever reward, or punishment they met at the hands of their masters is unknown.
Now free of the threat of rampaging Chaos warband, new warbands rise to fight for the treasures Mordheim still possesses, and Wyrdstone that has rained down.
It is the Dawn after the Darkest Night, and the Ashes gleam with newly-born fire...
Scenario: Welcome to the Hunt
Terrain: Freely placed mordheim city terrain.
Deployment: Standard warband deployment
Game Lenght: 6 turns
Scenario special rules:
Wyrdstone Tokens
Before Deploying models, but after Warbands have choosen their Deployment Zone every player gets 2 Wyrdstone Tokens.
They then must take turns to place 1 wyrdstone token at the time. These wyrdstone tokens must be placed at least 18" away from the warband's own deplyment zone, and at least 6" apart from eachother.
After all warbands have placed their tokens, each token scatters 2D6". This may bring tokens closer than 6" from eachother. Reroll scatter dice if the token would scatter off table or into impassable terrain.
Objective of the Scenario is to hunt down and capture as much wyrdstone as you can carry!
To capture piece of wyrdstone, you must place any non-animal model within 1" of an wyrdstone marker and take Strenght test (this represents warrior trying to dislodge the piece of meteorite from where it has sunk, or attempt picking up the big piece of glowing stone). If the test is succesful, place the wyrdstone counter next to the warrior: he now carries it. Picking up Wyrdstone marker ends the carrying model's movement phase.
Carrying Wyrdstone Tokens:
-Model may not Run while carrying Wyrdstone marker.
-He also may not Hide with wyrdstone marker (the Glow is too strong to hide).
-Any model may not carry more than one Wyrdstone marker.
-You can pass wyrdstone marker from model to model at any time during Movement Phase: To do so the 2 models must be in Base-to-base contact and the model receiving the Wyrdstone marker must make Strenght test (this represents the difficulity of passing over large piece of Wyrdstone). If the test is succesful, pass the wyrdstone marker to the receiving model. If the test fails then the wyrdstone marker stays with the original carrier.
Receiving Wyrdstone marker ends the carrying model's movement phase.
-Should model carrying Wyrdstone Marker be taken Out of Action, he immediately drops the Wyrdstone marker. Place the wyrdstone marker where the carrier was slain.
-Wyrdstone maker can only be passed from model to model once in a movement phase.
-Carrying Wyrdstone counter at any point during Movement Phase counts as having moved in the Shooting phase (regardless if the model moved or not, representing the difficulity of operating complex ranged weapons while carrying big bag of Stone)
Winning the game:
After 6 turns, the Warband with most Wyrdstone Markers is decleared Winner.
Routing
Should warband Rout before turn 6 and some of their models were carrying Wyrdstone Makers, place the markers like their carriers were taken Out of Action (above).
Winner Reward
The winning warband receives 1 piece of Wyrdstone per wyrdstone token their warband had at the end of the game.
All other warbands that have not routed must roll D6 for every wyrdstone token their warband had at the end of the game: On 3+, they receive 1 piece of wyrdstone (this represents the chance to drop a piece of wyrdstone during the retreat, winning warband in hot pursuit)
Experience:
+1 For each model taken out of action by hero
+1 for surviving
+1 for winning leader

Lesson learned, BTB armies are either far weaker or way stronger than they look on paper, and there doesn't seem to be any middle ground. Or Juha just needs to stop stunning undead things and just kill them :D
So the Liche gets punted out of the city for being too wizardly, and now you'll have to deal with a vengeful Tomb Prince (Vampire)
Edit: Oh yeah! About the armor question, that is, lowering the price. Should we do it? I personally think that while armor is rare, a lot of armor might end up becoming a pain in the ass and slowing the game down even more. It'd still be nice to see one, and I think that even something like 25% off would make armor more usable.

Well, noting that majority warbands have S5 on all their guys, i don't mind if we have some tinfoil wrapped around our respective bodies before it gets powderized.

Market Gardener:
Marketplaces used be gathering places of this ruined city. While stalls are already rummaged through several times, but each time when the smell of food comes out, it calls more than pack of swarming rats...
Terrain:
Create a 14" x 14" large area to the middle of the table to represent the marketplace and create suitable terrain around it, walls and fences can be used to mark edges of the market square.
Victory conditions:
Warbands are fighting desperately over the control of the marketplace and it's fresh loot! Game lasts 6 rounds, but after the third turn (when all players have ended their turn) the player who has only models in the market square wins. Alternatively game ends when all players have played 6 turns or in the turn when one player routs.
If match ends, winner is who has most models alive in the square, routing warband's models cannot control the market square (fleeing pussies won't get their share!)
After the match:
Fighting over the open market is often dangerous, but can prove to be more than worthwhile. Winner of the match may roll D6 to see how many pieces of loot he can try find from following 2D6 table you can get same loot only once.
2D6 result:
2 Spoiled Meat: Take iniative test all of your models in your warband, models who fail the test put their teeth hastily into old meat and are suffering from grumbling stomach and pain. In your next game these models cannot run, charge, go hiding and suffer -1 penalty to shooting during first turn.
3 Small coin bag: You find D6 Gold.
4 Tall man's pegleg: You find corpse remains with suitable stick what makes to a perfect torch! You'll find torch.
5 Hanged man: Someone couldn't stand being here, you find Rope & Hook
6 Spiky balls in chain: It's heavy but looks deadly, you find Flail.
7 Weapon rack: You find old weapon stall and your searching gives results! Roll D3 to see if you find 1: Sword, 2: Spear, 3: Halberd.
8 Hunter's stall: You find old stall kept by hunter, roll D6 to see if you find 1: Fur worth of 2D6 in coins, 2: furs worth of 3D6 in coins, 3: Shortbow, 4: Bow, 5: Crossbow, 6: Hunting Arrows
9 Rags: You find rags what are likely used as clothing, roll D3 to see if you find 1: Mad Cap Mushroom, 2: Crimson Shade, 3: Black Lotus
10 Wyrdstone stash: You find someone's wyrdstone stash and gain D2 Wyrdstone
12 Map: Maybe it's used by tourists? You find a Map and refer to Mordheim rulebook to discover it's quality.
I'll re-use one what we have played earlier. Prepare for plenty of out of action models. :D
Also, anyone can print Warband Roster sheets for me? Printer doesn't work.

Farewell, oh thee giant among us...
Rat ogre dieded. Leader dieded. Everything is lost (-teded).
Glottkin sat on his ass (?) for the entire game, went to his daemon lord to ask for princehood, and was swiftly clubbed to death by the daemon.
So as a result, we have mage possessed with S5 and T5 and whatnot. Not sure if glottkin's death was curse or blessing in disguise.
Necromancer cursed Rat ogre, who got mad as a result (and lost wound), causing series of misses as the rat ogre made rude gestures. Skeleton warrior saw this and charged up, shoving his spead deep inside my rat ogre's love hole, causing severe case of death and "not today, hun" headache.
Meanwhile, in the skaven front: Total of 20+ wounds caused to handful of ghouls from Venminkin with slings. Not one dead(er). They just kep getting stunned and knocked down like they had grabbed exposed power line.
Heresy's nurglins hid in a closet (i dare not to think what might have gone on in there...) and emerged to whack on salsa. Who lost his leader to xxx720proskopexzzxxxor's (sutenööri's leader) no-scope across table, space and time.
Disheartened by the turn of events, Salsa's warband choose to rout, and with the Heresy only in objective zone (as the nurgleball consolidated from salsa's combat zone) the game ended.
So as conclusion, chaos got stronk (how am i not suprised), Heresy grabbed prize.
Tomb kings got 3-wound, 3+ armor S4 Ws6 leader and bunch of zombies with immortality rule.
Skaven broke and fled, resulting in wrath of the verminlord and soon after dinner party, starring the warban'd remnants.
Think i'll go with Clan Pestilens warband next (for that -3 modifier against shooting attacks) or Clan Skyre warband next (And get Jezzail gun for all heroes, for sniping purposes only).
