The escalation continues! We are moving up the ladder to 1800 points.

Tournament profile

The event is competitive in nature and is aimed at players who want to test their skills in an experienced club and also against the harsh military arenas. However, its also there to motivate new, and existing, players to finish their armies.

General tournament and miniatures used

- Games are played under the rules of the Warhammer 40,000 Eighth Edition.
- The participation fee is € 15, and should be paid 30 days before the tournament starts. NO REFUNDS. All the fee will be used to buy prizes.
- The tournament is aimed for 12 players maximum.
- The figures used must be fully painted, based and conforming to the wysiwyg rule. This means that all grenades and guns do not necessarily have to appear on the figures, but as accessories they buy as options, such as special weapons, melee weapons and, for example, flags. Proxylated or clearly incomplete figures should be left home. How ever, if you have a conversion for a specific model, you can MP me and send its picture, to avoid any misunderstanding.

Registration and Armies

Players who want to attend can write here or PM me. Their names will be added to the list of participants.
Each player must construct their army list using Battle Scribe, and have the list printed out, or on his phone for his opponent.
The list should include Warlord Traits, Psychic Powers and Relics.

Army Compositions

- Armies must be up to 1800 points. Not more
- The army must not contain more than three detachments, and no detachment may be duplicated.
- The Stratagems, Relic and Warlord traits function only with <Faction> detachments, i.e. with the same logic as Objective Secured (or equivalent) rules in Chapter Approved / Codex. In addition, only Warlord's <Faction> Stratagems and Relic are available.
- The units familiar with Forge World Index books are authorized to use.

Missions

Deployment will be randomly determined by the organizer before each round. It will applay for all games. No two missons will have the same deployment type.

At the beginning of the game players roll off. Winner chooses deployment zone and loser deploys first unit. Rest of the deployment will alternate between players. First to finish will get +1 to the roll to determine first player.

Game length will be variable. At the beginning of round 6 first player rolls a die and on a 3+ game continues. At the beginning of round 7 second player rolls a die and on 4+ game continues till the end of that round.

Completing objectives rewards victory points as follows:
Primary 5 victory points
Secondary 3 victory points
Tertiary 1 victory points
-First Blood
-Slay the Warlord
-Linebreaker

If one army is totally wiped out or one player concedes, winner gets 11 victory points and loser 0 victory points despite objectives scored during the game. Winner is considered to have scored all objectives and loser none.
