EDIT : Tämä on aika surkean kurja loru, eikä sillä ole enää yhtikäs mitään tekemistä armeijani kanssa.
Craxus' Death Guard, 3rd Company
A death incarnate
As the Great Crusade saw the rise and fall of countless heroes, of whom most remain unknown, it also brought up many great villains who have not merited infamy in such a grand scale as Horus and the other fallen primarchs.
Before the Heresy one such an individual, Craxus, became the Death Guard's most unsubtle and savage company captain. Craxus believed that it would be cowardly for a superhuman space marine to sneak upon his enemies or to snipe his opponent from afar. He thought that a true warrior would give his opponent a fighting chance, that a warrior should not kill if his opponent didn't see him. His example moulded the company into an assault orientated elite force, as only the toughest warriors could survive the insane assaults led by Craxus.
It was thought that even if Craxus was not a suitable leader for a company, he was an exemplary space marine, unflinching and determined, possessed of limitless hatred of the emperor's foes. No - one could suspect that he actually hated everyone. He saw himself superior to possibly everyone, even to Mortarion and the Emperor, and gave absolutely no regard to the lives of anyone else but himself. At the legion's treachery he slit his throat after proclaiming that everyone was beneath him and not worthy of him. The horrendous injury took his ability to speak, but he lived. Perceived to be blessed by Nurgle, his company followed him when he left the legion without any explanation, and to this day they appear at seemingly random locations, killing every living thing in their path. The company seems to be exceptionally blessed, surrounded by an aura of radiant pestilence, and its silent lord Craxus carries one of Nurgle's Deathscythes, a daemon weapon of immense power, and a mark of one that is bound to bring death in the name of Nurgle.
Bakterian, Company Sorcerer
After being elevated to daemonhood, Craxus has mostly ceased to lead his company, rather being drawn to otherworldy matters, such as creating vile plagues and battling other daemons. His elevation has earned daemonic reserves to the company, and hordes of Plaguebearers are often seen accompanying the Death Guard. After killing the other would - be - leaders, Liutenant Sorcerer Bakterian took command. Bakterian, after returning from his pilgrimage, has begun a campaign to spread Skull Rot, changing the company's tactical approach to covert operations from just spreading ruin.
