Torachiyo Norekage is a renowned shas´o of the Tau fire caste. He borned to a noble family, and was grown in a shadow of Farsight enclave. As such, the boy learned much from these warriors of commander Farsight, enough to start building of his own warhost. Torachiyo trained hard as he was young, stubbornly continuing the practises with no disappointments about failures. He had always been a good fighter, but after seeing Farsight´s skills in close-range war Torachiyo became truly inspired. The gun was exchanged to a blade, in a form of halberds, spears and long curve swords. Though his training programmers and Tau culture´s very leaders, Ethereals, found him almost as a traitor, he keeped training close combat. As programmers gave him more and more exercises to keep him from sword-using, he took the time from where he was free. At night times, Torachiyo often slided to darkness, out from the gaze of ethereals. In the moonlight he trained.
After leaving his homeworld as a young adult, he already had skills match to any knights of Farsight. Torachiyo properly send a wish to Ethereal council to get permission of gathering his own hunter cadre. But wise rulers knew Torachiyos opinions and obsession to vulgar skills and refused to give a permission. Soon after, the greenskins invaded the city.
Civilians were caught by the terror, as orks and their crude machines roared through the streets of city. Those brutal monsters slaughtered almost a quarter of all citizens before any reaction from the Fire caste was noted. But after hearing about the invade Torachiyo was ready. He grabbed his weaponry, close war tools and powerful wargear of his race and charged.
Battlesuits of the planet prepared to shoot to a green mass as Torachiyo showed up. He hadn´t got a war-suit, as only members of hunter cadres would be permitted to wear them. As such, young warrior fought in armour of normal fire warriors. The commander of the planet, Takeda Shojumaru noted the warrior, breaking from the lines of shas´la and charging in a lethal fury across the battlefield towards the beasts. Shojumaru took a long jump, using his jetpacks, easily raised the insane warrior from the ground and glided back to lines through the air. Torachiyo tried to get away from commander´s iron grip, but all he did was useless. Soon he noted he was back in a safety, for a while. Tau commander spoke him with a deep voice. "No that kind of hopeless actions are needed. Our heavy weapons are already locked on them, as they break cover the will be vanquished. It isn´t your time." Torachiyo roared of anger.
But when the huge mob of orks lumbered from the ruins, a large greenskin stepped forward. It handled a red metallic object with metres of wire and dozens of buttons. The machine spitted small lightnings as the leader raised the machine upwards.
"Fire!" Shojumaru shouted and blasts of Tau weaponry echoed on the war-torn cityscape.
The orks were unwounded, not even a scratch appeared to their muscular flesh. The strange field-like wall had stopped all the shots which tried to demolish the incoming horde. The orks charged forwards.
Torachiyo rised his spear, took few steps towards the orks and felt a hot wave on his skin when he entered the space inside the power-field. He swung the blade in the air, and couple of monsters dropped headless to the ground. Tau parried few clumsy blows as enemies tried to strike him, dodged the few unaccurate gunshots and attacked pushing his long weapon through the stomach of the ork leader. The force field was destroyed as it´s bearer slammed to ground and dropped his machine. Torachiyo withdrawed from combat, as without weapon he was powerless. He falled back enough to be out from the line of Tau weaponry fire as they massacred the leaderless ork-force. The Ethereals who had overwatched the battle from their tower knew they would be in trouble tomorrow when the young Tau would re-wish a permission of own warhost.
Norekages hunter cadre has now travelled fifty years, it´s fast deployments and pure fighting skills have bringed help for many planets. It has many warriors who honour Torachiyos opinions, such as commander Takeda Shojumaru. All fighters in his army battle not only for theirself, but for honour, for friend and greater good. They respect the duty and honour as most important things and no Tau has seen Torachiyos army panic. They all use effective weaponry, normal rifles in addition to long blades and knives. Search of honour has taken many lives, but all know their comrades died a fine death for the greater good.
