Velan Bearclaw, The Revenger
From the deepest depths of Athel Loren, you can a furyous roar but you don't need to fear, if you come in peace... Velan (later known as Bearclaw and The Revenger) was one of the Ariel's Guardian-Nobles. He was noble, brave and mighty... and in love. She was one of the Ariel's maidens and of course, blessed with beauty, she was Anial.
One day Ariel was defending the northren borders of Athel Loren with his Guardians and Maidens against a ravaging Beastmen horde. The fight was done by ease and fast all the Beastmen were slain. But from the dust and blood a tough shaman called Ishbalan raised and called the wind of chaos to help him. He blast a great dark ball against the group of Maidens. It clashed in and every Maiden falled. Before Ariel was able to unleash the Fury of the Forest against Ishbalan, Velan jumped forward and with one gigantic crush he cut the shaman in twice. After that he run to Anial, who was laying near. She was dead. Suddenly Velan rised and run to the woods with tears in his eyes.
For two days he just layed in forest and stared to the sky. Kurnous noticed the anger and grief of Velan and offered Velan a trade, Kurnous will give him great powers and ablity to revenge to all those who have even some energy of Chaos running through their veins and Velan promises to defend Athel Loren forever and ever.
Now Velan has taken the shape of a bear and runs through Athel Loren from battle to battle with revenge burning in his eyes.
Velan may be taken to Wood Elf army. He takes up two hero slots and rare slot, but may never be a general.

Furyous Charge
Velan charges to fight with revenge burning in his eyes and when he clashes in to combat his paws are really lethal.
When Velan charges he gains +1 Attack and +1 Weapon Skill for that round of combat.
The Strong Paws
The Paws of Velan are really powerfull and the claws are sharp and strong.
The Paws confer Velan +2 Strength and Killing Blow ability, but Paws are pretty clumsy and so he strikes last, exept if he charged.
Blinded by The Revenge
The Revenge has taken control over Velan and with no mercy he charges in enemys and slaughters everybody who disturbs the peace of Athel Loren.
Velan is subject to frenzy and hatred.
Thick Fur
Velan's fur is thick and can protect from hits
Velan has scaly skin 4+.
The Blessing of Kurnous
Kurnous has blessed Velan with protection and won't let him die.
The Blessing confers Velan 4+ ward save.
