Löytyykö näille marineille omia sääntöjä? Jos löytyy niin voiko joku kertoa ystävällisesti mistä.
Mukana Suomen miniatyyripeliskenessä jo vuodesta 2002

As a long time Dark Angel player, I was pleased to see the rules tweaks for the mean and green boys in the latest White Dwarf. Most of the things I saw as weaknesses have been removed and the army is much more balanced now. But that's not the gist of this story.
As I read the article, I began to remember some of the numerous exploits of my Dark Angels over the years. First, my Librarian single-handedly defeated 20-odd Dark Eldar (including an Archon and retinue) in hand-to-hand and making them break! Also, having Azrael captured by Dark Eldar and then listening to my buddies describe in intricate detail the things they did to him (I hang with some sick puppies, let me tell you). I have also attended three Grand Tournaments using the Sons of the Lion. Then I remembered the two brothers that I got to know through local tournaments.
The first brother played Space Wolves, a worthy army and a long time rival chapter of the Dark Angels. As we got into the "friendly competition" spirit the words began to fly. You know, the usual stories of how the mighty Wolves would best the Dark Angels, how they were the mightiest of the Space Marines, etc, etc. I told him to go scent mark a stump or something for no chapter matched the record of the mighty Dark Angels. The conversation deteriorated from there (in a fun manner--we actually all like each other pretty well).
As I had Brother A on the ropes in the cut down match, enter Brother B who plays the Imperial Fists. He began to try to take up for his poor whimpering brother. While as a Dark Angel I may think the Space Wolf to be dumb like the stumps that they scent mark, I do respect his fighting ability--unlike the wimpy Imperial Fists. In a moment of inspiration, I recited the Top Ten Reasons that Dark Angels are better than Imperial Fists to all gathered at the local gaming establishment. Below is the list, recreated in all its glory, and submitted very tongue in cheek?
The Top Ten List: Dark Angels VS. Imperial Fists
Reason #10
Dark Angels wear nifty GREEN armor; Imperial Fists wear YELLOW - 'nuff said!
Reason #9
Unlike Primarch Rogal Dorn of the Imperial Fists, Dark Angel Primarch Lionel Johnson never had his ass kicked by Primarch Perturabo of Iron Warriors.
Reason #8
Unlike Primarch Rogal Dorn of Imperial Fists, Dark Angel Primarch Lionel Johnson never had his ass kicked by Primarch Night Haunter of Night Lords (do we see a trend here?).
Reason #7
When the Emperor had to have one of his Legions stay behind and guard Earth while the others traveled the Galaxy gaining fame and glory, Rogal Dorn jumped up and down shouting "Pick Me, Pick Me?I'll do it?"
Reason #6
Never had to have ass saved by Ultramarines, unlike the Imperial Fists after being pinned down for months by the Iron Warriors.
Reason #5
Dark Angels have the greatest victory record of all the Emperor's Legions. Imperial Fists are 0-1-1 (no recorded victories, lost to Iron Warriors and they like to call the defense of Earth a "Draw").
Reason #4
Lionel Johnson fought Leman Russ toe-to-toe for a day with neither Primarch besting the other. Rogal Dorn would have used the famous "Play Dead and Run Away" tactic.
Reason #3
Dark Angels have lots of nifty special items like the Sword of Secrets; what were the Imperial Fists things again?can't seem to remember?
Reason #2
Dark Angels would have NEVER screwed up the defense of Earth and got everyone killed. And where exactly was Rogal Dorn when everyone else attacked Horus?.
And?.
Reason #1
Did I mention the YELLOW armor?
At this point - the Imperial Fists guy hung his head in shame with nothing left to say?
Blind to the Risk: In a mission with a variable game length, when the game ends, the Imperial Fists’ opponent may choose that a single extra turn of the game is played (one player turn each).Kuuker kirjoitti:Juu ja nehän omaa sen blind to the risk taidon eli jotain tyyliin salamanderit mutta vähän huonompi siis se vuorotaito, eli ne saa pelata yhden ylimääräsen roundin jos pelataan random game length scenua.. korjatkaa jos tiedän väärin?
Toisaalta ainakin niissä on ASENNETTA! Sen sijaan että pelkurimaisesti lähtisi haneen kuten muut ne jää viellä taistelemaanVladgren kirjoitti: Eli vastuksen valinnan mukaan, tuo on aikamoinen huono puoli.
Siis imperial fistit on perus marineita joilla on blind to risk ja kasa bunkkeri etc erikoissääntöjä.
