The Purge is a Chaos Space Marine warband. They despise life in all its forms and have waged war against aliens and mankind alike for 3000 years, attempting to exterminate all life in the galaxy. Where the Purge attack, famine and pestilence soon follows. The Purge is known to have participated in the Antecanis Massacre in 165.M37 alongside the Black Legion and other warbands. The Purge also participated in the Vaxhallian genocides in 926.M412, slaughtering 14,000,000,000+ Imperial citizens.
