Just thought I'd share a few things I recently picked up from the Chaos_Dwarfs Yahoo group (if the honourable members of that forum object to my sharing the doubtlessly delightful news, may you sacrifice my still-beating heart on the Altar of Hashut):
The list's apparent mod (Aleeha) as well as a few others claims to have spoken with Phil Kelly and Tim Huckleberry (and also Gordon Davidson) about CDs fairly recently. Basically there was a confirmation from Phil/Tim/Gordon that,
a) Chaos Dwarfs WILL get an army book;
b) the models ARE being reworked and the list IS being worked on at the moment;
c) no official word and/or trial list has been released as of yet because the army isn't yet conceptially set in stone (less so in fluff than in actual troop types/units/organization/etc.);
[In any case I think they wouldn't want to steal the thunder of the next few books that will be out - e.g. Beastmen.]
d) there was talk that "the entire [new Chaos Dwarf] list was being redone to be very unique from other armies" - Hashut only knows what that's supposed to mean;
e) NO big hats! Not ever!!;
f) Golems were mentiones as a possible new troop type.
Some of this was also confirmed at the recently-held Polish GT.
