Tapiola summer fantasy heat:
"Kingdoms" Warhammer Fantasy Battle Campaing:
Each player sets up an army of:
1. 600pts
2. 1200pts
3. 2400pts
4. 4800pts
Player may make armylist for 2400pts and divide it into a 1200pts and 600pts armylists,
but the player must use models and army entries of his/her units as it's in the 2400pts armylist.
Example, player A has chaos warrior unit that costs 400pts, equipped with great weapons and full command.
Player A must use the unit as it's written down in any army list he or she chooses to play with.
Therefore player cannot use over 600pts unit in a game of 1200pts.
Normal army rules apply to every of the 1.-4. armylist sizes, so 25% to lords and 25% to heroes, 25% must
be core and 25% rare, etc..
So plan your army wisely!
If any unit is wiped out of combat (all dead or are overrun or has run off the table) they consider
as casualties and may not be used anymore in the armylist (unless bought back)
If a player plays a game of 2400pts and wins the battle by 1200pts, he/she can purchase unit's that he/she
has lost earlier in the battle, or buy new units. The cost of new units is as it's in the armybook.
If a player plays with an army of 2400pts and looses 3 units as casualties and therefore is lowered down
to example 1850pts total of his/her armylist, is that player allowed to play only games of 600pts or
1200pts until reaching 2400pts armylist total again.
If a unit survives a battle, it may be upgraded!
Upgrade costs 25% x amount of points as the unit originally was.
Upgrades are such:
Lords and heroes:
roll d6:
1. Nothing happens, the poor hero wasn't just ready to move on
2. character gains +1 initiative
3. character gains +1 weapon skill
4. character gains +1 attack
5. character gains +1 leadership
6. character gains +1 wound or +1 magic level (to the maximum of magic level 4)
Write down to your armylist what upgrade your hero has received.
If character is defeated in combat and taken out as casualties, hero looses all of his/hers upgrades
and they may not be bought back in any ways. So be careful with your skilled characters.
Core upgrades:
roll d6:
1-2: nothing happens
3-4: +1 ld
5: +1 inititive
6: +1 attack
If a unit is defeated in combat and taken out as casualties, the unit looses all upgrades
and they may not be bought back in any ways. Unit can be bought back as 0 experienced unit.
Special unit upgrades:
roll d6:
1-2: nothing happens
3-4: +1 movement
5: +1 armour save
6: +1 attack
If a unit is defeated in combat and taken out as casualties, the unit looses all upgrades
and they may not be bought back in any ways. Unit can be bought back as 0 experienced unit.
Rare upgrades:
roll d6:
1: frenzy + stupidity
2: +1 inititive
3: +1 attack
4: +1 wound
5: +1 strenght
6: +1 toughness
If a unit is defeated in combat and taken out as casualties, the unit looses all upgrades
and they may not be bought back in any ways. Unit can be bought back as 0 experienced unit.
Some of the units there is no need to take any experience since the unit may not gain anything
worth to raise their points value by 25% each time they roll for the experience table,
so be wise where to use your upgrades and when to use them!
In the campaing you may also join forces with other army using the warhammer rulebook rules
for allied forces and example use 2 x 1200pts armies against one army of 2400pts.
You may also join or ask someone to fill your army out in a situation where your army or the
army your going to accompany by x amount of points where the total number is either 600, 1200, 2400 or 4800pts
Example, High Elf player A has lost a battle and now has his/her army reduced from 2400pts to 1800pts
lending your Wood elves to the High elf player worth of 600pts and therefore the high elf player A
could play 2400pts game with those units from the Wood Elf army lended.
Of course if the joined army units are destroyed they are removed as casualties from the original list
that they were used originally, in this case the wood elf army.
If the joined units side wins the battle and survives, they are allowed for upgrade roll with the
cost of the unit/units points value to be increased by 25% in the armylist.
So make alliances and defeat mighty opponents or try to sneak out some precious experience points
to make your smaller army to build up in points and in nice skills too!!
Player may always refuse to take or lend help, as the player sees fit.
Games take place in Tapiola on: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays
