Stalin's Europe olisi tulossa huhujen mukaan tämän vuoden loppupuolella. Late War on tietenkin kyseessä ja aikakausi October 1944 - February 1945 eli ensinmäinen kirja jossa päästään vuoden '45 puolelle! FoW omilla foorumeilla on käyty keskustelua sisällöstä, saa nähdä mitä kaikkea kivaa sieltä sitten löytyy (SU-100 yikes).

"In late 1944 the Red Army is once more on the rampage. In August they quickly crush Axis resistance in Romanian and push out of the Ukraine and into the Carpathian Mountains. The Romanians surrender to the Soviets and switch sides, joining the Allies.
Three massive Soviet Armies converge on Hungary defended by six German and Hungarian armies. Hungarians and Romanians clash in Transylvania over disputed territory, before the Soviets arrive and push the Hungarian and German forces out into eastern Hungary in October. German armoured forces are rushed to Hungary to deal with the threat.

A desperate struggle ensues around the city of Debrecen and on the River Tisza. A massive clash of armoured forces delays the Soviet advance, but the red sledgehammer is soon swinging again as they launch a thrust towards Budapest, the Hungarian capital.
In November and December armoured battles rage around Budapest as the Germans of the ‘Feldherrnhalle’ divisions and Hungarian armoured forces attempt to stop the encirclement of the city.

The savage and bitter struggle for Budapest lasts for 100 gruelling days. Soviet and Romanian riflemen grind their way into the city while the defenders hold firm, fighting for every piece of ground with steely determination.
The smothering blanket of communism has fallen over Eastern Europe. The fall of Stalin’s Iron Curtain will change the lives of millions for 45 years."

Stalin's Europe oli tänään ainakin Tapiolan Pelikaupassa näytillä. Erittäin mielenkiintoisia listoja ja veikeitä warrioreita (Unkarilainen Tiikeri Ässä!) Menossa mukana mm. Hetzer komppanioita ja Puna Armeijan omat Sherman 76 hordet (10 kpl n 675 pojoa). Romanialaisilla on toveri komissaari aina joukkueessa mukana pitämässä pojat ruodossa; motivaatiokin hoituu samalla tavalla kuin 8 million bayonettes sääntö, eli motivaatio ja skillit heitetään pelin alussa (RT'stä CV'hn). Kirjan pitäisi olla myynnissä ensi kuussa..

Fantsussakin kirja katseltavana. Unkarilaisia Tiikereitä!!! Muutenkin siellä oli kaikenlaista hauskaa. Saksan listat aika peruskamaa, mutta Unkarilaiset rupesi kuumottamaan. Ei maailman parhaita vehkeitä, mutta Zrinyi rynnäkkötykit veikeitä.
