Arcane Accumulator - Commander Nemo

Hello folks,

While i haven't posted an introductory post yet, I live in Helsinki, have been living in Finland for about one year. My Finnish is not good enough i consider to use it here yet so I will use English for now.

As I am returning to Warmachine/Hordes after over one year of not touching them literally and my smallish Khador force is out of reach, back in my home country, I am starting over this time with Cygnar. I do have a battlebox on the way, however I do also plan to get my hands on Commander Nemo.

His ability called "Arcane Accumulator" says the following: When another model casts a spell within his control area, Nemo gains 1 power token up to 3. During his Control Phase, when he replenishes Focus he turns power tokens into Focus points.

To use an example: Let's assume I have 'The Ragman' Mercenary solo who does have magical ability. Assuming he casts 'Death Shroud' or 'Bone Shaker' within Nemo's control area, would solo magic abilities count as casting spells, thus trigger his Arcane Accumulator ability?

WM Prime p. 83 "The spells a model can cast are listed in its entry undetr its Magic Ability special rules."

So yes, using Magic Ability counts as casting a spell, which means a Power Token for Commander Nemo.

You might want to check Dwarven Arcanist Corp aswell (Mercenary unit we boys in blue can use) and ever popular Lady Ayiana and Master Holt (they never go out of style), Alexia (p/e) are both nice as well.
