WM/H Ropecon 2018 (27-29.7)

Hello,

Information about this years Warmachine&Hordes tournaments in Ropecon

Tournament is held at Helsinki Expo and Convention centre, Finland.

Friday, July 27th:

Team Tournament
- TO: Samu "Sopuli" Järvinen
- Max 8 teams of 4 players (32 players), SR2018 rules package will be used (assuming it's published before tournament).
- 1x75p list with 30p Specialists. No two same casters in one team (different incarnations of casters count as different casters).
- Three rounds
- Basic Painting Required (most important is LOS-lines)
- Tournament starts at 17:45, Round 1 starts at 18 then 1h break, 21:30, 24, tournament done at 02.
- SOS will be used as a tiebreaker at the end-results.
- The lists to the team tournament need to be turned in one week before the tournament. The deadline is 18:00 22.7.2018.. Team captain will turn in all the lists with theme bonuses, clients, specialists etc. to [email protected]. The lists will be published at the same weekend.
- In case of a 2-2 draw between teams in a round, the first paired table will be the deciding "Champion" table.

Pairing:

1: Captains exchange lists and dice-off. Winner chooses to be team A or team B.
2: Teams can have a private meta session for up to 10 minutes.
3: Team A captain chooses a member of his team to be paired.
4: Team B captain chooses two members of his team to be paired.
5: Team A captain chooses one of the two players to play against his first selected player. This is the champion game.
6: Team A captain chooses a member of his team to be paired.
7: Team B captain chooses two members of his team to be paired.
8: Team A captain chooses one of the two players to play against his first selected player. This is the second game.
9: Team B captain chooses the two last pairings.
10: Team B captain chooses tables for games.

Saturday, July 28th:

Main Tournament
- TO: Samu "Sopuli" Järvinen
- Max 32 players
- 1-2x75p. SR18
- D&C 0.
- Basic Painting Required (most important is LOS-lines).
- 3-4 rounds, top4 qualify for a new tournament on Sunday.
- Rounds start at 10, then 1h break, 13:30, 16:00, 18:30, tournament done at 18:30 or 21 depending on how many games it takes to cut to top 4.


Sunday, July 29th:

Main Tournament Finals
- TO: Samu "Sopuli" Järvinen
- Top 4 from the earlier tournament
- Same lists, scenarios can't be repeated from earlier tournament
- D&C 0.
- Otherwise new tournament, ie. everyone starts from 0 TP
- Two rounds give one winner
- Rounds start at 9:30, then 1h break 12:30, tournament done at 15

There no need to send army lists when participating in main tournament.

As of basic painting (from SR17, updating when/if there is something different in SR18)

Basic Painting Required –
All models must be primed and
basecoated. Players must present the intended final color scheme
on all parts of the model. Bases can be unfinished.
