Hail Centurions! Nopat & Taktiikka gaming club hereby invite all Horus Heresy players to partake in a new narrative event in Helsinki.
Theme and Spirit of the Event: Warzone Walkyre is a narrative driven campaign event, with an emphasis on creating legends out of your warlords. We encourage themed and balanced lists over a powergaming approach. The event will not proclaim any single general as the best player, rather we are looking to resolve which side wins control of the planet Tuonelia 2-7 in the Warzone Walkyre. The event encourages and rewards the best painted / themed player. Your legion warlord might be rewarded with accolades won during the battles in Tuonelia 2-7, which will carry on to the next Warzone Walkyre event day in the future.

What to bring?
- Two forces. One for a Zone Mortalis (2000 pts) game played on a 4x4 table and one 3000 pt force for a regular 6x4 table.
- Please prepare a 2500 pt list if your opponent does not have a 3000 pt list to play with.
- 6 objective markers.
- Painted miniatures.
- Lists must be in digital or print form to show to your opponent.
- Name your warlord and give him a short background (2-4 sentences). His deeds might be immortalised in the battles ahead!
- Theme your planetary strike force for rapid and mobile battles. The force should be able to take hold of critical locations and keep them untill relieved.
- Theme your strike force for a ship assault action if possible.
- All Zone Mortalis rules, restrictions, reactions etc are in use as portrayed in Siege of Cthonia campaign book.
- Strong and inspirational warlords are needed in this campaign to lead by example in combat.
- Commanders should emphasises mobile line units that can hold ground in their force structure.
- As this is not a main operational front, the Primarchs and named characters will not be engaging in this Warzone.
