Loput eventpackista :)
Before the game:
1.Determine Zone Mortalis Terrain.
2. Designate ceilings: a. Roll a d3-1: this is the number of areas on the table that have either no ceiling or a ceiling high enough to allow the use of jump packs and similar wargear. Players should agree on which areas of the table are like this. Note: It is possible that no areas are high enough.
3. Designate access points: Players decide on 2 areas on each side of the table (4 sides and 8 access points in total) as access points. An access point can be marked with a marker, or it can be some suitable entryway.
4. Place objectives: Roll off; the player rolling highest places the first objective (mission 1).
5. Strategic advantage: Roll off; the player scoring highest gets the strategic advantage and must take the first turn unless the other player succeeds in first strike (bullet point 10).
Traitors get +1 to this roll in mission 1.
Traitors automatically get the strategic advantage in game 3 and will be the attacker.
6. Choose deployment zone: the player without the strategic advantage chooses their preferred deployment zone.
7. Deploy armies: use the rules from page 186 of the Siege of Cthonia book.
8. Units that can infiltrate may do so.
9. Scout moves.
10. First strike: use the rules from page 186 of the Siege of Cthonia book, except that the first strike is successful on a d6 roll of 6+.
11. Begin the game and good luck!
Reinforcement points cost: The following chart is used to determine how many reinforcement points (RP) it costs to deploy units during this event. Note: the chart is slightly different from the one in the Siege of Cthonia book.
