This event is all about fun games, cool armies, and great stories on the tabletop. We’ll be using the 2025–2026 Mission Deck for matched play, but the emphasis here isn’t on chasing the latest competitive edge — it’s about enjoying the hobby together.

🌟 Event Spirit

* Bring an army that looks awesome on the table and feels like it belongs in the 41st Millennium.

* Think narrative, thematic, and cinematic battles rather than tournament-optimized efficiency.

* Your opponent should feel like they’re fighting your army’s story, not just its strongest spreadsheet version.



✅ Guidelines for Army Building

These aren’t hard rules, but here’s what we encourage:

* Themes over combos: Your list should reflect your chosen faction’s identity (e.g. a Death Guard force with plodding infantry and daemon engines, not a soup of the strongest units).

* Variety over spam: Mix different units instead of repeating the same datasheet multiple times. It makes for better-looking and more interesting games.

* Heroes, not linchpins: Named characters are cool, but try to use them for theme, not just raw power.



🚫 Things to Avoid

To keep games balanced and fun for everyone, please avoid:

* Copy-paste meta lists from top tournament events.

* Spamming the most efficient units in your codex.

* Leaning on known “problem combos” (like stacking multiple re-roll auras or buff bubbles that are notorious in the competitive scene).


If you’re unsure, just ask yourself:

👉 “Would I enjoy facing this army if I sat down across the table?”

Missions will come from the 2025–2026 Mission Pack.

* Round length: 3 hours
* 2000 points
* Tables will have balanced terrain layouts for fair and thematic battles.

16:00 – 16:15 Break

16:15 – 19:15 Round 3

19:15 – 19:30 Prize ceremony
