That's bloody nice lost&damned. 6 troops(and not min sized either!), 2 HQ's(one of them aspiring champpion...Other dirt cheap lietnaunt), 3 fast attacks and 3 heavy supports. No elites. Albeit 2 nasty ordnance but each army should have SOMETHING that really gives worries to opponent eh
We rolled cleanse for scenario. Not bad except quarter I got(I lost the roll to choose deployment area) SUCKED for me. No good place for basilisk and I have to go through gluster of 4 forrest pieces. I HATE DIFFICULT TERRAIN! All they do is split my force...I prefer nice open battlefield
Turn 1:
He advanced to south with rhino and traitor squad. Mutants start to head toward sluggas along sentinel. Spawns head to center. Shooting doesn't kill that many orks(mainly because most of his stuff was out of LOS!) and blows the basilisk...Bummer. I return by advancing toward him ASAP, though this is hindered at center with double 1 difficult terrain check for grots...Big shootas fail to scratch the sentinel and rokkit misses the rhino.
Turn 2:
Sentinel prepares to charge slugga mob(he's planning to blow it up in my face, again!). Spawns and mutants keep advancing. Rhino heads bit more toward me but behind hill. In shooting I sacrifice big shoota to force sentinel charge my nob...Which duly blows the thing apart with penetration 6. Luckily only 1 ork died so sluggas got free movement toward mutants. Rest of shooting killed few orks and grots, no big damage. Oh and spawns charged into grots and made them run, obviously
I answered by charging into mutants with burna mob, warboss and slugga boyz. Burnas fired and killed few mutants(but annoyingly his aspiring champpion passed the armour save when he allocated wound to it. Ah well. Can't get lucky there I guess). Skarboyz charged into spawns. Combats went well enough for me in the initial round, mainly thanks to striking first. 4 spawns died and lots and lots of mutants fell.
Turn 3:
Furies come out, NEARLY got destroyed when template went bit too near of my orks for his comfort(ah if only he had scattered BIT more toward the close combat...) but no harm and they prepared to charge the slugga boyz. Rhino squad disembarked front of 'ard boyz. In shooting all par mekboy on south was shot and he ran and mobbed up with 'ard boyz. 'ard boyz were suffering damage as well when trio of heavy bolters from russ opened up...Ouch! In combat spawn died and I concolidiated toward traitors. On big combat furies made bloody mess around there and with mutants striking first I lost total of 11 orks this turn. Not good at all! I returned furiously as well but it was clear that even if I win I won't be having too many models left after all is done.
My turn. 'ard boyz charged into rhino squad and skarboyz moved full speed ahead on traitors. Here and there if they make it...But luckily one skarboy made the gap and they charged in...Killing none and losing 2 in return...I had only 8 left at this point so they could have run...But luckily mob size check ended up precicely 8...1 more and they would have embarassingly ran...'ard boyz OTOH fought well. Infact they fought TOO well. Killed every single traitor and now looked into leman russ who was only too happy to fire at them...Not good.
Turn 4:

Traitors make spirited counter charge and 20 more charges into skarboyz. Orks were probably having best time in life at this point
Rhino tank shocked my 'ard boyz. I pass the check. Rokkit #1 death and glories. Penetration. 3!!!!! Okay. Rokkit #2 does same. Penetration. 3!!!!!!!! God damn. How can one roll double 3's...I wouldn't be suprised if 3rd one would have done same hadn't he died earlier to ordnance hit...Luckily heavy bolters killed only 1 more.
Skarboyz fought well and won the combat. In return 2 squads(the ones that had charged
And mutants and orks fought in bloody stalemate.
In my turn 'ard boyz prepared to finish the rhino(figured I wouldn't reach combat alive anyway). Of course the damn thing blows in my face killing 2 more...Whats with my orks ALWAYS blowing vechiles in their face when they attack them in close combat? Skarboyz lost some more guys and now only 4 were alive. However we caught final survivor when he tried to flee. Concidering I was at front of russ and in sight of traitor squad and basilisk that's a good thing! Mutants and furies finally killed last reqular ork and warboss was at final wound. And naturally enough he ran(I had tried to kill mutants to get enough CR's to get draw but guess what? All power claw attacks killed ONE mutant...).
Turn 5:
Sole survivor of traitors in combat with skarboyz failed all alone and ran...Bummer. One fleeing traitor squad ran off board, other rallied. Nurglings prepare to charge in. Shooting does nothing to skarboyz(hurah!) though russ killed few 'ard boyz and rest ran offboard. Nurglings killed 2 skarboyz and lost 2 in return. Warboss was killed by fury though bionic arm killed 1.
My turn. Grots shoot at mutants, kill few and rest ran away. Go grots go! Skarboyz alas kill the final nurgling(despite nob using choppa in desperate attempt to keep nurgling alive. Unfortunatly the instability check was too much for poor nurglung) and stare at face of certain death...2 traitor squads and russ stares at them...Atleast I had got out of sight of basilisk but does it really matter?
Turn 6:
No it didn't. Bang, bang and bang. They are dead. Final fury charges into grots. Kills none and I lap around.
In my turn grots(and that's GROTS! Not slaver) killed the offending daemon. However he had secured 3 quarters so won easily.
I did okay in h2h but I just ran out of orks. Bummer.
