? Itse pidin chariotin säännöistä, joskin tein siitä haavoittuvaisen myös ampumiselle, ettei Wainroderit ole liian kovia. D8 tuhoaa suurimman osan nuolien tehosta

A confederation of Easterlings that descended upon Gondor and its allies, some two centuries after the time of the Great Plague, and remained a dire threat to the South-kingdom for nearly a hundred years. The Wainriders, who took their name from the wagons and chariots in which they rode to war, quickly overran Rhovanion and soon came to battle with Gondor itself. Narmacil II was lost in battle, and for a time all of Gondor's possessions east of Anduin were lost to it. Narmacil's son Calimehtar won a temporary reprieve when he defeated the Wainriders on the plain of Dagorlad.
After that defeat, the Wainriders planned a crushing revenge. Allying themselves with the Men of Harad and Khand, they orchestrated a simultaneous assault on Gondor from the north and the south, and the South-kingdom came close to destruction. King Ondoher was lost in the northern battles, but his general Eärnil defeated the southern invaders. The victorious Wainrider army in the north, celebrating their victory over Ondoher, suddenly found themselves set upon by Eärnil. In an encounter that became known as the Battle of the Camp, the Wainriders were put to rout, and those that survived fled back to their eastern domains.
It was later seen that the invasions of the Wainriders, as so many of Gondor's perils, were engineered by the emissaries of Sauron. While Gondor's control of the lands east of the Anduin had been lost, the borders of Mordor had been open, and during this time the Nazgûl had taken advantage of Gondor's plight to re-enter the land of their master.

He rides a warchariot
Special Rules:
Horn of Wainriders: It can be blown when charging at enemies whose number are greater than one, ie more than one enemy.
The enemy takes a courage test. If failed, they counts as trapped when wouding.
Warchariot Herumor gets cavalry bonuses when riding in a chariot with the exception that the chariot cannot be Knocked to the Ground even if charged with cavalry. Only mostrous mounts can knock his chariot down.
Movement&close combat: When charging, a chariot makes trampede like impact hits which are resolved at S6 and he makes two of them.
The chariot moves as normal horses, though two horses are needed to move chariot at full speed. If either of them (horses) is slain, the chariots move rate is decreased down to 8". If both horses are slain, Herumor must abandon his chariot.
Warchariot has a D8 and 3 batterpoints. In addition, it adds 1 point of defence to Herumor to represent shelter that chariot gives them.
Shooting the Chariot When shooting the chariot roll to hit first. When those are resolved, then roll a further D6 to every arrow that hit. On a roll of 1-2 the arrow hit the horses. Roll to wound as normal. On a roll of 3-4, it hit the chariot. Roll to wound as normal. On a roll of 5-6, the arrow has struck Herumor, roll to wound as normal.
If Herumor is slain, then horses must make a courage test at start of each turn. If failed, then the chariot moves straight line forward a full distance. If it hits a target, resolve trampede hits as normal. Survivors can strike back. If the chariot moves away from the battlefield, then it counts as slain for all purposes.
If the chariot is destroyed when Herumor still rides it, he takes D6 S3 hits for hitting the ground and rolling over and over again. If Herumor survives, then he counts as footed, though any wainrider that spends a full turn without doing a thing can pick Herumor up to his chariot. When doing this, Herumor automatically becomes the rider of the chariot and he replaces the crew, who must step aside and come as passengers. Though warrior with throwing spear can still use it.
Movement in/into difficult terrain: Chariots cannot enter in woods. When moving in difficult terrain, roll a D6 at each turn when chariot starts its movement in difficult terrain. On a roll of 1, the chariot cannot move at all. On a roll of 2-5, the chariot moves half of its movement rate and on a roll of 6 it can move normally. Herumor can re-roll this roll, if evil player desires to do so.
When moving within 1" of any stone or similar object, roll a D6. On a roll of 1-3 the chariot has struck the object and takes a S5 hit. On a roll of 4-6 it can move as normal. This represents chariots hard handling when moving fast.
Herumor can re-roll this roll too.
*Note that Herumor doesn´t have any upgrades, he´s simply so experienced rider, that he can avoid hard places.
These rules apply to all wainriders.

Ja sitten Gwaith-i-Mírdain. Koska näiden pitää olla jotakin hienoa ja erikoista, niin ajattelin että heistä jokainen olisi heikko hero, kuten Pohjoisen samoojat.

Their skill gained them the friendship of the Dwarves of nearby Khazad-dûm, who valued such artistry, but their fascination with the making of things was to bring about their downfall.
Nearly five hundred years after Eregion's foundation, a mysterious being appeared among its people. Calling himself Annatar, he had knowledge and skill beyond even that of the Mírdain, and he offered this knowledge freely to the People of the Jewel-smiths. They accepted his offer, and for some three hundred years more Annatar taught them. Eventually, their skills were great enough the begin forging Rings of Power, of which they made many, and their greatest works were the Three Rings Narya, Nenya and Vilya. Through these Rings, they discovered to their horror that 'Annatar' was none other than their ancient enemy Sauron, who had corrupted their great work to his own ends. It's impossible to know how old he was at this time, but the fact that there is no account of him before this, and especially that he wasn't present to swear the Oath of Fëanor, suggests that he was born after the Noldor returned to Middle-earth."

Special Rules: Lineage of the Firsborn: Celebrimbor is one of the gretest, the firstborn. He´s son of Curufin and grandson of Fëanor, the greatest elf ever lived.
His will is so strong, that he gets 1 free will/turn.
In addittion, so great is the aura of this noble elf, that he causes terror to all evil creatures.
Rules: Rules are spell-like actions, that can be cast at any point of movement turn if not engaged into close combat. Rules work exactly like spells, thoug they do not last so long.
These are like trademark of the brotherhood of the smiths.
When their will drops to zero, they cannot use rules anymore.
Rule of the Gwaith-i-Mírdain, 3+: When cast, this rule effects Celebrimbor himself and all friendly models within 3".
They can re-roll all 1 in close combat when wounding. This rule lasts for the remainder of that turn.
Rule of Greatness, 3+: When cast, friendly models within 6" cause terror to all evil creatures. As Celebrimbor already causes terror, this has no effect on him. This rule is working as long as Celebrimbor has at least 1 point of will.
Rule of Brotherhood, 3+: Celebrimbor counts as banner for all friendly models within 3". This rule lasts for remainder of that turn.
Rule of the Burning Hammer, 6+: The enemy cannot benefit their armour or shield in that close combat. This rule lasts for the remainder of that turn. Only Celebrimbor benefits this rule.

Juu, hyvältähän tuo näyttää. Kopioidaan, tosin vielä kaivataan difficult terrainiin jotain. Ainakin sellaista voisi päättää, että metsään ei mennä, kiviin ja muihin törmätessä heitetään testiä, jos kärry riistäytyisi käsistä. Herumor voisi re-rollata tuon testin. Vaunu voisi vaikka scatteroitua jotenkin, muttei taaksepäin. These upgrades represent tweakings, that wainriders had done into their chariots.
In scenarios they haven´t any upgrades if not said no.
Every chariot can have one upgrade.
It would be good, if that upgrade is shown on chariot.
All chariots has 2 riders, with exception Herumor, who rides alone.
Superior Construction, 15pts: Much effort has used to build this chariot. It can re-roll all difficult ground tests.
Note that Herumor has this upgrade automatically, it costs no extra points, because that skill comes from Herumor himself, not the chariot.
Spiked wheels, +15pts: Wainriders had added some cruel spikes and blades on their wheels, able to tear through flesh and armour.
Trampede hits are raised to 3 instead of 2. It´s still S6.
Extra Horse, +5pts: Wainriders had added third horse to pull their chariot.
If one horse is slain, the chariot can still move at full distance.
Larger chariot, +20pts: This chariot is simply larger and loaded with weapons.
It can used to pick up footed troops. It can carry 8 passengers+ its 2 rider.s In addittion, passengers counts as armed with throwing spears which they can use even within chariot.

Jousi... enpä tiedä. Miten tuo ampuminen pitäisi järjestellä, jos jousi annettaisiin. Itse olisin enemmän throwing spearin kannalla ja sitten voisi vaikka halventaa ratsain liikkuvia jousimiehiä, mikä sopisi eräänlaiseen fluffillisesti aitaustaktiikkaan eli jousilla pyöritään ympärillä ja pakotetaan vihollista tiiviimmäksi jonka jälkeen rysäytetään vaunuilla läpi. Tällöin vaunut ovat enemmänkin closikseen.

Tämän päivän aikana olette saanut virkistettyä topiccin, ja paljon aikaan...
Pidin Wainridereista...pikku mumakeja, mutta niin pitääkin...tyhmää, jos vaunut, joita vetää vaikka se kolme hevosta, pysähtyisi, kun eteen tulee yksi tyyppi...
Mutta, mites paikoillaan taisteleminen? vai onko se edes optio? Onko vaunut kokoajan liikkeessä? Ja, jos porukkaa tulee tielle, ne joko kuolee tai jollain ihmeellä pääsee pois vaunun alta, eli siirtyvät viereen...
Lisähepasta, muuten voisi antaa lisämatkaa...
Pidin Wainridereista...pikku mumakeja, mutta niin pitääkin...tyhmää, jos vaunut, joita vetää vaikka se kolme hevosta, pysähtyisi, kun eteen tulee yksi tyyppi...
Mutta, mites paikoillaan taisteleminen? vai onko se edes optio? Onko vaunut kokoajan liikkeessä? Ja, jos porukkaa tulee tielle, ne joko kuolee tai jollain ihmeellä pääsee pois vaunun alta, eli siirtyvät viereen...

@ Kellokoneisto Ne eivät ihmeellisesti siirry vaan loikkaavat syrjään (Terveisiä GW:ltä
). Paikoillaan taistelemisesta tulisi niiden heikkous, eli vain crew saisi lyödä taistelussa, mikäli vaunu ei ole chargannut. Iskuja olisi kaksi. Eiköhän se olisi hyvä.
Ja tuo lisämatka lisähevosesta ei toimi. Normaalistikin hevonen liikkuu sen 10" eikä enempää, joten lisähevonen ei voi nostattaa hevosten maksiminopeutta.
@ Averren Tuosta Eorlista sen verran, että eikö 12" range olisi parempi kuin tuollainen Disney Movies Jumppi?
Ja tuo lisämatka lisähevosesta ei toimi. Normaalistikin hevonen liikkuu sen 10" eikä enempää, joten lisähevonen ei voi nostattaa hevosten maksiminopeutta.
