40k: Adeptus Arbites armeijani fluffia

Jeps. Eli kirjoitin tulevalle Witchhunters Adeptus Arbites armeijalleni fluffin pätkän. Engalnti kielenä koska sillä oli helpompi hoitaa kommunikointi, ja se sopii asiaan paremmin. Kuvailu jäi pois, mutta eipähän tuo tälläisessä tekstissä olekkaan päätarkoitus. Ja lista on tuossa: http://forums.sotavasara.net/viewtopic.php?t=32935

Problems in the street.

”Alert! Terrorist attack on the Liberation Street on the northern hive! National defence on guard! Move the Alexei’s 1st company in the position! Terrorists have invaded a block of flats! They are considered armed and dangerous! Bring the Adeptus Arbites in to the action! We need fire support!
They are attacking!! *gunshots* Argh!!! *stiff silence* “Was heard at the Adeptus Arbites of the planet Balruum, Headquarters at 3.00 Pm. Message was sent from the crime scene by the local police, Adeptus Arbites was needed in the action!

“Get my Land Raider ready! Attack teams ready to go? Judge Tombard with me! Infiltration squads take the Valkyrie and infiltrate the enemy location, get the sniper into position! Get the “Judge Dredd” ready to go!” Yelled High judge Alexei to his men in the huge hangars of Adeptus Arbites.
Alexei mounted his personal Land Raider transport with his task force and judge Tombard and his men. They lined up in the hangars with the chimeras and watched the Valkyrie rise in the air.
Hangar doors opened at the High judge’s command: “Open the doors! Full speed, overcharge the engines! Get in the there as fast as possible! “

Northern hive was only few miles of the headquarters, and they reached the Liberation Street opening with unbelievable speed. The local police was taking hits from the gunfire, fired from the windows of this four level house. As the Judges emerged from their transport, a local police officer ran towards them and stopping to tell them the situation: “We are receiving heavy fire from window mounted heavy bolters! The enemy has captured the house, and is keeping approximately two hundred civilians as hostages! What are your orders, sir? “
Alexei had a moment’s breath and thought, and announced his orders through communication-link:
“Sustained attack! Alpha team, attack from the left flank! I, judge Tombard and our task forces will attack from the centre entrance! Attack teams Bravo and Charlie wait for my command to storm the front and afford covering fire with the Dredd and the Land Raider! Infiltrate squads Delta and Gamma! Parachute to the roof and advance immediately! Storm them from the both flanks! Advance at extreme caution, we have a possible hostage situation here! Sniper, get rid of those goddamn Heavy Bolters!”

Alpha team reloaded their shotguns and headed to the left entrance. Alpha team was normal enforcer squad, consisting of four shotgun armed enforcers and a Sergeant with power armour and powerful power weapon. Alpha team was commanded by experienced sergeant A. O. Kell, who had served as a police officer before getting transferred to the Adeptus Arbites anti-terrorist unit. After serving as a member of Charlie team for another ten years and witnessing ex-Alpha team sergeant Bruce Toothload’s death, he got promoted to the active sergeant of Alpha team.
Alpha team headed in, one member carefully swinging the door open, as the other took cover behind their shields and advanced with extreme caution. As they started to enter the house, sergeant Kell informed the judges with his headset: “Alpha team here, we are going in! “
“Roger that Alpha team. Bravo team! Attack the right flank! Charlie team, cover the back exits! Infiltration teams, what is the situation? “Responded High judge Alexei.
“Sir, we have neutralized few enemy threats, and we are ready to attack the ballroom, and then this level is clear. “ Responded infiltration squad Delta’s sergeant, and continued to with the orders.
As squad delta moved to the last door, sergeant yelled to his squad: “Deploy smoke! Assault in, let them taste some shells!” As they moved in to the position, one member of the squad opened the door and threw smoke grenade in to the room. There was some shouting, and then smoke grenade exploded. The room was filled of smoke, as squad delta deployed frag and stormed the room.
As they advanced they shot their shotguns towards the terrorists. Running, loading and shooting, they struck their enemies into the death, and then they assaulted the enemy. They moved with incredibly speed and draw their swords and attacked the terrorists. With swift movements, they sliced their way through those primal assholes. As blood splattered, heads dropped and swords rusted, squad delta had cleared the room and saved few hostages. They advanced to the next floor.

At same time, High judge Alexei and his accompany had cleared the first floor and advanced to the second, and to the terrorists base. As they got of the stairs, they immediately encountered few terrorist threats. But as Alexei’s and Tombard’s task forces assaulted the enemy, with their power swords, they sliced their enemies to half, and the blood splattered everywhere. Bodies floated in blood, and rested in peace. As they made their way to the great hall, they encountered few enemies, but Tombard’s storm bolter took care of them.
As they finally got to the doors of the great hall, they encountered team’s alpha, bravo, delta and gamma. Together they gathered their strength and attacked in to the room. As doors swung open, Arbites opened fire. Twenty-five shotguns, one storm bolter and two bolt pistols opened fire. They killed most of the terrorists, and assaulted the rest, as they massacred few, others tried to make an escape, but bravo team had already stormed from the back door, and as terrorists tried to make an escape, private Muller, Arbites plasma gunner, melted few of them, as adrenaline ran through his veins. As other terrorists saw this happen, they with unbelievable speed dropped their guns and surrendered. As they still made sure there was no-one else in the house, they saved the hostages and transported the prisoners in jail.

Once again, Adeptus Arbites had saved the day, High judge Alexei had made one more effort to keep the hive clean and tidy from terrorists. Mission was complete.

Mukavaa tekstiä, vaikka tuntuikin koostuvan lähinnä Alexein käskytyksistä.

Enkussa on aina se oma kaiku, joka on tullut elokuvista ja peleistä. Tässä saattoi oikein kuulla radion särähtelyn dialogien välillä. Onko tämä saanut vaikutteita Judge Dredistä?? Ei kai suinkaan

Mutta jotenkin raflaava, land raider saattaa olla ylimitoitettu arbitesille, tai en tiedä. Komennoissa oli sitä kunnon delta force- kaikua.

Välillä hassusti muotoiltu ja jotain pieniä virheitä taisi olla mutta muuten hyvä. Mutta miten hitossa miekat ruostuvat kun niillä viipaloidaan terroristeja?

Niin mutta siis sillä hetkellä. Tuskin niiden veri oli mitään ultima-mega-ruostejuuri-tuho-litkua.

Tuo sana latistaa tarinan tasoa. Myöskin Land Raider oli liioittelua, yleensä heillä on käytössä rhinoja. Valkyrietä en kommentoi mutta myöskin ''Judge Dredd'' oli hieman hölmö nimitys. En itse ainakaan olisi käyttänyt sanaa 'terrorist' tarinassa, ennemmin jonkinlainen jengi olisi ollut parempi. Muutamia kielioppi-virheitä mutta ei niinkään väliä niillä jne.. Muuten ihan jees, pienen pientä korjailua niin saisi kympin .

meinataan, että aseet muuttuivat ruosteen värisiksi verestä, vaikka kirjoittaja ei olisi näin ajatellut .

Jeps jeps. No ensinnäkin tuo Land Raiderhan on juurikin korkea-arvoiselle tuomarille ja hänen saattuelleen varattu erikoiskulkuneuvo, Valkyrie kuvastaa scouttien infiltrointia, ja Thelacan osui oikeaan tuossa "rusted" sanan tarkoituksessa. Oli vain ainoa sana joka tuntui sopivan kunnolla tuonne.
Ja tietenkin mietin itsekkin onko sanana, 'jengi' vai 'terrorsti' mutta päädyin terroristeihin ihan sen takia, että Arbites on ylemmän tason erikoisyksikkö, eikä normaalimman tason poliisivoimat. Ja jengit yleensä hoitaa poliisi, mutta tässä tapauksessa kun poliisi ei siihen kyennyt, kyseessä ovat terroristit jne.

Ja "Judge Dredd":llä on seuraavanlainen fluffipohja: kuten yleensäkkin, Dreadnouhgt:eihin laitetaan vanhoja sankareita ja vastaavia, tässä tapauksessa, Drediin on asetettu entinen High judge, joka siis piti järjestystä useammallakin planeetalla, mutta päämääräisesti toimi tällä kyseisellä planeetalla. Ja täten sai siirron myöhemmin Dreadnought armoriin

Varsin railakasta toimintaa, vaikkakin tuli jotenkin Ghost Recon mieleen noista käskyistä ja joukkueiden nimistä Bravo, Charlie jne. Mutta pidin paljon vaikka jotain pikku virheitä tekstissä olikin.

Tuotatuota, tahtoisin vain vinettää täällä,kuten kaikkialla, sanasta "käskytys". Se ei siis tarkoita käskyn antamista, vaan jonkun käskemistä johtamaan kolmansia. Ei sillä että se olisi kauhea virhe, mutta sanon kumminkin, että tämä viisaus välittyisi eteenpäin edes pienessä piirissä, kyseessä on nykyhetken ehkä kaikkein pottumaisin kielivirhe.
