Shadow of the East Supplement, the next supplement after SotS will include the plastic Easterlings. Possibly these will have different helmets because of the problems with casting the models in plastic.

Shadows in the East, quite obviously is to do with Easterlings and exploring their history. This would introduce even more exotic troop types, such as (possibly) Wain Riders, and Chariots. We should also be expecting some Easterling bowmen (finally!). These of course will be plastic, which means we’re all be going to get our hands on reasonably cheap Easterling armies in the near future! (YEY! ) It was also suggested that we could, possibly, maybe, hopefully, might be seeing a Khamul character!

The Shadows of the East bring us plastic easterlings, new heroes(and new heroetypes), some stuff for Gondor, Dwarves and a 3rd good army.
Easterlings DO NOT have chariots- but Adam said that there would be some!
There will be Variags of Khand (probably those have the chariots.)
Plastic Easterlings "look amazing", they have shields,spears,hellebeards and bows.
There´ll probably be Khamul the Easterling, unfortunately I forgot to ask about Pallando and Allatar, the blue wizzards.

GW:n Australian sivut uudistuivat, ja sen myötä sinne lisättiin tällainen pieni "A Shadow In The East" -kuvaus. Ei tuossa nyt mitään järkyttävän suurta infoa ole, mutta se voi antaa pientä kuvaa siitä, mitä kaikkea lisäosa käsittelee.

I spoke to my local store manager yesterday, and he told me he'd recently attended a Manager's Conference at Warhammer World. They were shown the whole range of Shadow of the East models, the copleted SotE Supplement, and some of the Fall of the Necromancer models. In brief, he told me this:
Shadow of the East
-Plastic Easterlings that stand along side metals.
-Easterling Kings.
-Easterlings Heavy Cavalry (heavy armour and shields!)
-Khandish Mercenaries (who roll a D6 at th start of each battle, on which they're stats are one of 2 configurtions or they work for the enemy).
-Khandish Variags
-Chariots for Fot Troops and Kings.
Fall of the Necromancer
-Combat Wraiths (not ringwraiths, but servants of them.)
-Khamul the Easterling (The 2nd Ringwraith) with Armour and very cool special rules.
-Council of the Wise Boxed set-Galadrial, Celeborn, Good Saruman, Elrond, Thranduil, ?Cirdan?. Need to add Gandalf and Radagast yourself.
In addition to this, he told me of a Special Edition Frodo with the ring on. Transparent Plastic! Only available for a limited time though.
If any doubt the authenticity of this, ask one of the UK GW store managers, as all 120+ of them attended this meeting. And I expect the Ringwraiths have also seen this lot.

Uusi Khamul kuulostaa kivalta. Toisaalta toivon kuitenkin GW:n pysyvän pelihousuissaan sen verran, että Khamulista ei tule WK:ta voimakkaampaa, mikä olisi jo mahdoton yhtälö.

Selasin pikaisesti Liitteet, mutten löytänyt mainintoja Khamulista. En kyllä muista nähneenikään, joten taitavat rajoittua Ktk:aan.
Ihan kivaltahan tämä supplementti kuulostaa, mutten toivoisi mitään kummempia omia sähellyksiä GW:ltä. Alatarin ja Pallandon voisi suosiolla jättää pois, en osaa kuvitella mitä hyvää näistä seuraisi. Tulevat itäläiset kuulostavat kivalta, mutten jostain syystä saa päästä pois mielikuvaa Khornen juggernauteista ajatellessa tuota heavy cavalryä. Hienolta kuulostaa kuitenkin.

Eipä taidettu olla, kun Saruman käytti Orthancin tulta, kauhisteltiin tätä ennennäkemätöntä asiaa. Nuin paljon tavaraa kääpiöille? Kuulostaa oudolta, että samaan supplementtiin itäläisten kanssa tulee näin paljon kääpiömateriaalia, kun vielä lisäksi tulee haltiota ja tämä kolmas armeija. Olisiko tähän sekoittunut mukaan FaBan tulevia kääpiöitä, kuten Minerit? Explosive teamit ja eipä oikein katapulttikaan kuulosta Tolkienin Keski-Maalta.
Mistä päin löysit nuo listat?
Ihan TLA:sta...Niin kuin sanoin tieto ei ole varmaa ja itsekkin ihmettelen...Haltioiden pitäisi tulla vasta siinä "Fall of the Necromanes" jutussa...Omasta mielestäni se ei ole outoa, että kääpät tulisivat itäläisten kanssa samassa, koska toisiaan vastaan mättivät pohjoisessa...Itsekkin olen noita minereitä ja pommiryhmää vähän kummaksunut, unohtamatta katapulttia, jolle tuskin löytyy hirveästi käyttöä maanalla (toki kääpiöt sotivat ihan pinnallakin, mutta kuitenkin).

Toivon, että kääpiöitä koskeva tieto pysyy vain huhuina. Minerit ja pommitiimi? Turha repiä pelimaailmaa liian kauas Tolkienin luomasta maailmasta.
