Parin viime turnauksen tuloksen muista, muita joutuukin sitten kaivelemaan. Fanatic 3:ssa olin viides (pirun maalauspisteet, veivät miun KoSsin) ja Lepran turnauksessa yhdeksäs. Niin ja omissa turnauksissahan ei edes yritetä voittaa ;).

Ei kellään ole Suomi-henkistä armeijaa olemassa tai saatavilla?
Voisi kaikki potentiaaliset bannerit yms. pistää Suomi-väreihin, mahdollisuuksien mukaan. Esim. Empiren bannerit olisi varmaan aika hienoja suomen lipulla varustettuna.

Ihan vain ideana, kuten mahd. pelipaidat Team-Finlandille. Toteutuksista en tiedä, mutta voisi olla ihan hauskaa...

voisi olla ihan mukava lisä, niin ei kävisi niin kalliiksi.
sattui silmään esim. Leaf sponssaa mua-kampanja, jossa voi vapaamuotoisella hakemuksella hakea sponsorointia.

II. New army books and official Games Workshop FAQs and Q&As

IV. Tournament regulations

 The rules for the first scenario from the rulebook are normally used (unless the tournament regulations say otherwise) with the following exception: the player who wins the initial dice roll-off decides whether he will have the first turn or choose the side on which he will deploy his units.
 Pair tournaments: allied armies are treated as friendly. Allied regiments give heroes proximity and allied units do cause panic tests. Casting spells on allied units is, however, prohibited, as is using spells (such as re-rolls) cast by an allied mage.
 Pair tournaments: the allied armies cannot be of the same race (i.e. come from the same army book). Base army lists cannot be allied with their Storm of Chaos equivalents.

V. Rules clarifications

1) Terrain
a) One-level hills are considered to be of the same height. Units standing at ground level cannot see what is behind a hill. Units on one-level hills can see behind other same-sized hills. Large targets are visible and can see over one-level hills. However, two-level hills do hide large targets, which cannot see or be seen behind them. Units standing on a one-level hill also block LOS to and from large targets. Units standing on two-level hills can see over one-level hills.
b) Woods block LOS from hills. Flyers can fly over wood unless such movement would force the flyer to land inside a wood.
c) Ploughed fields are treated as difficult terrain for all models on bases larger than 20x20mm or 25 x 25 mm.
d) Buildings block LOS completely, just like woods or obelisks. You cannot cast master of wood or master of stone using buildings as a "medium".
e) Walls provide hard cover, are treated as obstacles, are not built of stone and do not block line of sight.
f) Fences provide soft cover, are treated as obstacles, are not built of stone and do not block line of sight.
g) In order to pass over walls, fences and other obstacles, a unit must surrender half its movement.
h) Ruins and obelisks are made of stone. Ruins do not block line of, are difficult terrain and can give soft or hard cover (as ordained by the referees or persons in charge of the particular tourney)
i) Chariots and similar units cannot be deployed on terrain which is impassable or would cause them damage as the result of movement.
j) Rivers are treated as difficult terrain for all units (including skirmishers) with the following two exceptions: aquatics and ethereals. River banks are normal open ground. Rivers are impassable for war machines, chariots, steam tanks etc. The anvil of doom cannot be deployed in a river. All bridges and fords are treated as open ground.
k) Lakes and ponds are treated as difficult terrain for all units (including skirmishers) with the following two exceptions: aquatics and ethereals. Lake shores are normal open ground. Lakes are impassable for war machines, chariots, steam tanks etc. The anvil of doom cannot be deployed in a lake.
l) Warp lava pools. All rules for lakes apply. In addition, every unit which passes through, or ends its movement on, a warp lava pool, receives an automatic magical S4 hit (in both its own and the opponent's turns). This also applies to creatures immune to normal fire, ethereals, daemons, etc.

2) Charges
a) You cannot declare improbable charges.
b) During a charge the attacker must bring as many own models into base contact with the enemy as possible. In case of single model charges, the maximum possible frontage of the charging model should also be brought in contact with the charged enemy as to avoid clipping.
c) The Accidental charges rules are void and do not apply. If the front edge of a charging unit comes within 1" of a second enemy unit, that unit should also be treated as charged (no counter-charges are made) and all normal charge rules apply (psychology tests, reactions, etc) as per appendix 6 - multiple targets.
Such charges on “multiple targets” should be avoided at all cost and executed only when aligning the charges forces it. Therefore, purposefully declaring “multiple charges” is forbidden.
d).............. Censored Twisted Evil
e) Charges are measured using miniature bases, not movement trays.

g) Charging chariots and single monsters can perform a single "pivot" manoeuvre instead of the wheel traditionally available to chargers. A "pivot" is a free rotation around the centre of the model's base.
h) The stand and shoot reaction cannot be performed if any one of the charging units is within 1/2 its charge distance to the target.

3) Redirect

a) You can only redirect a charge at a new target which the charging unit couldn't have reached without the original target fleeing. If there are reasonable doubts as to whether the new charge was possible without the first target fleeing, it should be assumed that it wasn't. In case where players are unable to agree on this, the judge has the final say, but measuring is forbidden before all the charges have been declared.

4) Combat Results

a) Except for rank bonus, which is calculated at the beginning of the close combat phase, all other components of combat resolution are calculated after the fighting is finished.
b) In order to get +1/+2 for flank or rear charges, the US of at least one unit fighting in the rear or flank must be five or more.
c) Likewise, in order to cancel a unit's rank bonus, at least one regiment charging from the side or rear should have US 5 or more. A unit gets its rank bonus back in subsequent close combat phases if the US of each unit in its flank or rear is below 5 when rank bonus is calculated
d) Single models must endeavour to bring their entire base front into contact with enemy, regiments may fight by "corners" provided that the maximum number of charging models was brought into contact with the target unit.
e) For purposes of "higher ground", the position of the fighting ranks should be analysed. A regiment which has its entire fighting rank higher than the enemy receives the bonus. If one regiment has its entire fighting rank on a hill, and the other only parts of it (for example, a unit of cavalry which can only get the front halves of the first rank's bases on a hill), the bonus is applied and is given to the unit which has its entire fighting rank on the hill.
f) Units fighting flyers never receive bonuses for higher ground.

5) Fleeing and pursuit
a) When a fleeing enemy unit is caught, see Annual 2002.
b) If a fleeing unit gets away from the pursuing unit, the pursuing unit continues its move after the fleeing enemy. The path of pursuit is the straight line joining the centres of the pursued unit (after it had made its flee move) and the centre of the pursuing unit (before the pursuit move is made). If there are any enemy units in that path and within reach of the pursuing unit, the "pursuit into fresh enemy" rules apply and a wheel can be made in order to maximise the number of miniatures in combat. In case of a larger number of regiments, the above recommendations and Annual 2002 rules should be employed.
c) Undead units must test their Ld in order to restrain pursuit, like all normal regiments.
d) Units declaring a flee reaction from more than one unit flee along the vector resultant from measuring the position of the centres of all the enemy units charging it and its own centre. Whether it was caught or not is established before performing the "flee" move, by comparing the flee dice roll, the original position of the regiments and the distance between them. If the sum of the dice roll and the distance to charging units is greater than their charge range, the fleeing unit has successfully made its escape, and the chargers are moved towards it - employing standard rules for a failed charge.
e) In order for a unit to leave the table, it is enough that any model from that unit goes over the table edge with even the smallest fraction of its base.

6) Shooting
a) When declaring a shot from a cannon or catapult it is best, in order to avoid misunderstandings, always target the exact centre of one enemy model.
b) When shooting at a stegadon from a cannon, the skinks in the palanquin are treated as a regiment 2 skinks wide, with three ranks (so a cannon hit from the front can kill three skinks at most)
c) A character which is part of one unit can receive proximity from another unit.
d) A character can benefit from the Look out sir! rule if he (or she, or it) is in a regiment of models the same size or greater than himself (herself? Itself?). Size categories are given below, starting from the smallest:
 small: specifically stated in the unit's special rules (rat swarms);
 man sized: models on 20x20mm and 25x25mm bases
 cavalry: models on 25x50mm bases
 large: models on 40x40mm or 50x 50mm bases, but not „Large Targets” (trolls, tomb scorpions, etc.);
 huge: models described as „Large Targets”.
e) A character in a unit cannot be shot at if he's surrounded by models of the same or greater size (see above).
f) „Proximity” functions exactly as stated in the Rulebook and Chronicles 2004 - a character next to a friendly unit comprised of models of equal or greater sizes and at least five models strong can only be targeted by shooting if he is the closest legal target.
g) In order to receive protection from arrows (soft cover), the entire unit must be inside a forest (or be visible through a forest by all models from the shooting unit). Note that this does not include the forest the shooting unit is standing in if the target unit is not located in the same forest as well.
h) In order to be able to declare a shot from war machines requiring line of sight, the target must be visible to the machines "targeting point" (the end of the barrel, the centre or any other point specified before the battle) and by at least one crewman. If the machine's "targeting point" had not been declared at the beginning of the battle, it should be assumed that it is the centre of the front edge of the machines base. If the machine does not have a base (fie!), then the targeting point is assumed to be the front end of the barrel (or spear/missile).

7) Psychology
a) Changes from Chronicles 2003 stand – there is no panic from a single model of less than five wounds destroyed by shooting. If such a unit is broken in hand to hand, it still causes panic.
b) Panic tests for a war machine destroyed by shooting should only be taken if its crew is destroyed. No panic is generated by destroying an abandoned machine or killing the last remaining crewman.
c) War machines destroyed by a misfire result do not generate panic.
d) Panic tests for a regiment taking 25% casualties must always be taken, the sole exception being taking such losses in hand-to-hand combat.
e) If a character causing fear or terror joins a regiment, that regiment does not become immune to fear/terror.

Cool Bases
a) Bases for war machines are not required, but when resolving shooting from template weapons (and for all other purposes) it is assumed that they take up an area no smaller than a 40x40 mm base. It is recommended to place war machines on 40x40mm bases.
b) It is assumed that a rider on a monster is always situated on the exact centre of the monster's base and takes up the space of a typical base for a member of its race, regardless of the actual positioning of the model.
c) All flying models barring large targets should be on 40x40 mm bases. Two exceptions are: DE harpies (20x20mm) and Chaos furies (25x25mm)

9) Magic
a) Spells cannot be cast using solely the dice provided by a power stone.
b) The decision to dispel a spell is made before measuring spell ranges.
c) A miscast cannot be negated by re-rolls from spells/magical items/abilities unless the description of the item/spell/ability clearly says that this is possible. The same applies to getting Irresistible Force results from re-rolls.


10) Close Combat
a) Killing Blow works on Fell Bats, Carrion, Pegasus Knights, Terradons etc.
b) Lapping round can be performed by models from unengaged ranks and columns

11) Tables
a) It is considered to be given than if a scenario (pitched battle, for example) requires units to be deployed 24" (or any other number) apart, this condition is met automatically. Should players accidentally place their units slightly closer to the enemy than allowed, than the actual measurements are disregarded in favour of this assumption.
In other words, nothing that has precisely 24" shooting range can reach an enemy on the first turn without moving slightly (or unless the enemy came closer). The same goes for spells, charges (helped by animosity or magic) etc. with a range of 24".

12) Declarations

Players should not declare impossible or improbable actions in order to "accidentally" achieve other goals which would not otherwise be possible to achieve.
Because there are many situations in which such unsporting declarations can be made, referees should refer (!) to their common sense in passing judgement on such actions.
It is especially foul and undesirable to:
a) Declare improbable charges
b) Declare improbable shots or "guess" improbable ranges (all forms, including template shooting) in order to hit models/units which you are unable to target otherwise.

13) Orcs & Goblins
a) Loose fanatics don't block table quarters, but do affect the ability to march of enemy units.
b) All fanatics released from a unit are moved at the same time, panic tests are taken after the last of the fanatics moves. The direction in which fanatics are supposed to go is declared before rolling for distance.
c) Flying units are forced to stop their movement the moment fanatics are released. They can continue their movement after fanatics have been moved only if they were charging. Subsequently, they can move freely over flying fanatics and only take damage if a fanatic hits them as a result of its own movement. If a flying unit decides to continue its charge, it also flies over the fanatics and does not take damage unless it is forced to touch a fanatic when aligning to a charged enemy.
d) Waagh! and Hand of Gork do not work on units which rallied or got a "squabble" animosity result in the same turn.

14) Dark elves
a) Blood Armour can be joined with normal equipment, but can not give a saving throw better than 1+
b) The City Garrison list cannot be used at "limited" class tourneys
c) The rules for scoring Victory Points for a war hydra are as follows: 100% for killing the hydra, regardless of surviving accompanying beastmasters, 50% for getting it below half the number of original wounds.
15) Chaos Dwarfs
a) Earthshaker cannons do not "shake" ethereals and flyers, but the movement of units with random movement (2D6, 3D6) is halved.
b) During a challenge, „Dark Mace of Death” works only on the enemy model which is engaged in the challenge.
16) Chaos
a) Mark chaos undivided allows to re-roll only the psychology tests mentioned on page 79 of the rulebook.
b) Characters cannot be put inside units with a different mark, including the mark of chaos undivided.
c) Tzeentch’s will allows the bearer make a re-roll only in situations which involve him directly.
17) Dwarfs

a) Warpstone luck charm allows the bearer to make a re-roll only in situations which involve him directly.
b) The warp lightning cannon should be treated as a cannon in all respects not directly addressed in its special rules - except that it cannot use grapeshot, of course.
c) The special rules for visibility regarding the warp lighting cannon only work during the Skaven shooting phase (and so cannot be used to block the deployment of enemy scouts and cannot be harmed by the Casket of Souls - without normal LOS)
19) High elves
a) Spearmen fight in two ranks when charging
20) Khemri
a) Tomb Swarms suffer wounds from combat resolution, just like all undead units.
b) Mankara’s Incantation of Urgency works on carrion
c) The Casket of Souls does not affect units engaged in hand-to-hand combat.
d) A Mummy wearing the Armour of The Ages still has Unit Strength = 1.
e) Wounds cannot be transferred onto the Casket of Souls using the Collar of Sepesh
21) Wood elves

22) Lizardmen
a) When calculating Victory Points for Salamander Packs, the number of models in the regiment should be taken into account. ½ VPs are awarded for killing more than half the models in the unit, be they skinks or salamanders. A monster reaction test is made only after the last skink is dead and it is a single test for the whole regiment.
b) Marks cannot be doubled.
23) Bretonnia
a) The Magic Resistance of characters works on the regiment which they join, as per the Online Q&A (Anthony Reynolds)
b) The option to pray and get the Blessing can always be selected by the Bretonnian player. This decision is made after both armies have been deployed.
c) Magic weapons are treated as lances, hand weapons or morning stars as is stated in their name.
d) The grail shield increases the bearer’s ward save only; it does not affect the mount’s ward save.
24) Vampire Counts
a) The Black Periapt allows you to store any leftover dice - yours or your enemy's
b) Live characters (i.e. Dogs of War) cannot join regiments with the undead special rule. Undead characters cannot join live regiments.

Olen tässä ajattellut, että muodostan joukkueen melkeinpä puhtaasti näppituntumalta. Katselen tuossa fanatikin jälkeen ketkä ovat vielä kiinnostuneita, ja haastan ne joiden pelilliset ansiot ovat minulle vielä vähän hämärän peitossa pariin harjoituspeliin. Osan teistä tunnenkin jo, luulisin ainakin että spjarv, Der Dexter ja Syfilis ovat kisakoneessa. Sen jälkeen varmaankin aletaan puhumaan lentolippujen varaamisesta. Hintoja vertaillessa katselin, että Saksaan pääsisi kyllä halvalla, mutta vain tiettyinä ajankohtina, joksi tuo turnausviikonloppu ei harmillisesti osu. Nyt selvisi, että tuo oli se kesän about ainoa viikko kun on pakollista ohjelmaa töiden merkeissä. Teen kesällä parin asian valmistelutyöt ja esittelypäivä on tietysti tuolloin. Ikävä kyllä taitaa mun kohdaltani vapautua paikka, onnea ja menestystä kuitenkin niille onnekkaille jotka lähtevät.

No niin, homma pistetään nyt sitten kunnolla liikkeelle! Tarkoitus olisi saada lentoliput varattua lähiaikoina, koska tajusin juuri että ne kallistuvat mitä pitempään odottaa (doh). Kaikki tiimiläiset ja mukaan haluavat, lähettäkää nimenne, numeronne ja (pää)armeijanne.

No niin, nyt on sitten avautunut tällainen optio, että mentäisiin ensin laivalla Tallinnaan ja sieltä Berliiniin. Tallinnasta kun pääsee edes takaisin 110 eurolla + laivakulut, jotka ovat jotain 20-40 välillä edestakaisin matkasta.

Teen tutkimusta koko ajan.
