Chapter 1
Sound of the dripping water can be heard in the end of the hallway... finally corrosion is on their side. The old fortress, sealed with a two meter concrete shell is finally giving in. For six thousand years they have waited, silently, their rage building up inside of them, their sanity slowly fading like a light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing inside the fort has not moved for ancient ages... Madness cannot be seen anymore, it is default. Sense has no meaning, so terrible is the agony of such a long wait. Darcia rises up from the corner where he has been sitting for countless centuries, writhing. The systemlights blink back online in his helmet, his red eyes creating a brim light into the dark hall where they were once supposed to march out of. The eternal silence is broken:
-Now. Says Darcia.
Slowly a small sea of red little blinking lights appear in the hall, heavy tumbling steps can be heard all around, sounds of small electric currents activating. The steps, and the lights, start to move towards the source of the waterdripping location.
-It's corrosive. Finally. Aim well Viktor.
Only a pair of steps can be heard now, only two lights move. The others stand still in a fine line.
-Yes sir, one shot. Answers the marine.
Their minds are filled with enjoyment and joy, when they first hear the sound of a reloading bolter in ages. Darcia issues the command:
-Fire.
The rocketheaded shell makes it's way trough the air, creating a small lighthalo around it. As it passes by the figures in the dark, wretched, twisted symbols of the imperium can be seen.. symbols that are but a disgrace to them now, creating hatred instantly when the forgotten ones once more see them.
A small explosion, the cracking sound of concrete. Small sources of light appear on the old wall that has imprisoned them. Outside the moon is shining, and a critter of some sort crawls near the wall. It makes hasty escape however, as an MkII Platform Boot punctures the concrete wall, sending debris flying in all directions. They've been released.
2 weeks later, Ordo Malleus hold in the Outer Ring:
-Sir..i have news. Says Acolyte Fideldahg.
-Enlighten me. Answers Inquisitor Lord Faux.
-Reports have been raining in Sir... not too far from our location. Reports of Marines in blue armour..twisted ones...hoodluming. We believe the Osiris have broken out.
