Zilidar's Wolf Legion
Kotitekoinen RoR. Haukkukaa vapaasti.
Silently Zilidar, the black-haired elven commander, watched the Orcs and Goblins massing on the other side of the battlefield. Brutes were shouting and swinging their crude ‘choppas’ high in the air, yelling insults and making rude gestures. Zilidar despised those barbarians, who had no discipline at all, only brought together by an urge to kill and loot.
“Elves of Naggaroth! Take a look at your foes! Do you see them? They are nothing compared to you! We are the masters of warfare! We have long spears to impale our foes at! We have shining swords to cut our foe to pieces! We have sturdy armours and shields to deflect our enemies blows! We have skill beyond compare! And what do they have? NOTHING! They have no discipline, no real weapons, only rusted axes and daggers!” Zilidars yelled at his men, who cheered and hit their chestplates with their armoured fists, rattled their weapons and shields. The men of Empire deployed on Zilidar’s flanks, their great, though unhonourable cannons covered by masses of their pitiful infantrty.
Zilidar saw the Empire commander walking towards him and ordered his men to take formation. The commander, known as the Captain Albrecht Helschreik of Empire, was a tall, dark man with long moustache and annoying voice.
“So, these are your mercenary filth, elf”, the Captain said examining Zilidar’s regiment. He bit his lips and gave Zilidar an insulting look. “Listen carefully, mr. Pointyears. I don’t expect your men to do nothing else than die. Get to the Orcs and hold the line so long that my Knights can charge their flank and break them. This shouldn’t be hard for even the likes of you”, Albrecht ordered. Zilidar sneered and looked away. “Hold your tongue, weakling. We Elves of Naggaroth are proud and great warriors, and beyond any compare by your peasant rabble you call Knights. Your so-called ‘warriors’ won’t even get to the melee before the Orcs run in terror. Now leave me and start collecting the money you promised us.” Zilidar said snarling. Captain grumbled something about hating elves and left, walking back to his knights. Zilidar resisted his urge to shoot that fool.
“Take the Shieldwall Formation!” Zilidar yelled at his men, who quickly formed a wall of Naggarythian shields. “Unit march forward!” Zilidar commanded. His Elves started to move towards the Orcs. Greenskin arrows pounded off from their shields, as beasts pointlessly wasted their arrows.
“Loose formation! Take your Uraithen! Aim! Fire!” Zilidar shouted, his men dropping their shields and taking their Repeater Crossbows. They moved several meters apart and fired at the Orcs, who now run towards them. After several hails, the Orcs were dangerously close.
“Take up your shields! Form Phalanx!” Zilidar’s regiment threw their crossbows on their backs and picked up their shields and pikes, and formed a deadly wall of spear points, the first row kneeling and three other ranks pointing past their enemies.
The Orcs charged. Tens died when they hit the point of spears, many more when they tried to survive the fight against Zilidar’s highly disciplined Elves. They didn’t give an inch of ground to the savage beasts. The Greenskins fled in terror, for they couldnt match the martial prowess of the men of Naggaroth. Zilidar’s men shouted warcries and pursued them, sacttering the horde.
“So, your Knights didn’t get any Combat, after all? I’m sad that they didn’t get to save the day”, Zilidar said sarcastically. Albrecth Helschreik grumbled and handled the elf several hundred gold coins. “There. And never show your face in Middenland again, elf”, the Captain said, hate in his tone. “Aye, next time your pathetic nation is about to fall to the Orcs, I’ll happily watch motionless. And then my men will come to loot and pillage. Good day to you”, Zilidar promised and left the command telt, keeping his head high.
“So, where next, comrades?” Zilidar asked and started to hand over his men’s pay. “I’ll say Bretonnia”, suggested Crasidyl Bloodspiller, youngest member of the regiment. “Young fool. Those knightly knights wouldn’t hire mercenaries even if Nurglites had stolen their sacred Grail and we were the only ones to know where it is hidden. I’d suggest Tilea. There is always some fighting in Tilea”, said Saridos, the Standard Bearer. “Yes, Tilea would be the place. What do you others say?” Zilidar asked. Most nodded in agreement, but few looked thoughtful. Zilidar’s cunning, dark eyes observed the crowd. “You, Deathdawn. What would you say?” Zilidar asked one of the thoughtful-looking soldiers. “In my opinion, we should go to Naggaroth. They are going to attack those Ulthuanites soon, I heard”, warrior said shyly. “I’m not going back to Naggaroth. I’m dead meat if I go”, Saridos refused. “Aye, me too, Zilidar”, said Crasidyl and several others. “To Tilea, then”, Zilidar ordered and handed some coins to the last of the Elves. He counted the remaining money, about twenty coins. He grinned and put the purse on his belt. “Let’s get going. Prepare for a march! Move it, men of Naggaroth! Show me what you’re made of!”
The Wolf Legion is known for it’s unmatched discipline and versatility. It’s Captain, Zilidar Wolfblade, is.. was a Dark Elf Noble, who decided that life of a warrior was just right for him. With his most loyal friends he left Naggaroth and has been mercenary since then. Zilidar’s men are arrognant, proud elves who think themselves better than any. They have high hatred for High Elves, just like their cousins. They have many weapons, which means good versatility.
Zilidar’s Wolf Legion may be taken as a Hero and a Rare choice for Dark Elf, Wood Elf, Empire, Dwarf, Ogre, Orcs and Goblins, Vampire Counts, Khemri or Dogs of War armies. They will never fight for High Elves and Chaos due to to their loathing such weaklings! Zilidar and ten of his Legionares, including a Standard Bearer and a Musician cost 260 points. Additional members may be added for +15/model.

Humm, kattotaas pikkasen
Fluffiin en ota kantaa.
Naku Noble, 70pts
+1LD, ? pts
Heavy A, 4 pts
Shield, 2 pts
3RXB, 15 pts
Pike, mitä se tällä, kun sillä on jo maaginen lähiase?
(Poisoned Attacks(6+), 10 pts)
Poisoned Attacks(5+), 25? pts
Rampa Coldblooded, ? pts
Immune Panic 5? pts
Immune Fear 10? pts
Jotakuinkin 130 pts
Warrior, 7pts, light armourilla
+1LD, 1 pts
RXB, 4 pts
Shield, 1 pts
Heavy A, 1 pts
Pike, 4 pts
Rampa Cold Blooded, ? pts
Immune Panic ? pts
Immune Fear ? pts
Kaikki tämä 15pts kappale. Sopiva hinta olisi 20-21 pisteen kieppeillä.
Formaatio rulet
Warbanner, 25 pts
+1 Pursuit, 15-20pts
130 + 10x 20 + Mus(5) + Std(10) + hilut ja vehkeet = noin 400pts
Alennuksia annetaan liikaa(vrt 260 pts). Hero+Rare on epätavallinen.
Kaiken kaikkiaan tuohon on tungettu liikaa juttuja.

The Captain kirjoitti: Osaavat liikaa juttuja yhdeksi yksiköksi. The Captain kirjoitti: Osaavat liikaa juttuja yhdeksi yksiköksi.
