... and due to his failure in the Battle for Kharrek, the corrupted Commander swung at Luca with his chainfist. The tremondous power crushed Luca's arm against the cold soil of planet Kharrek, leaving him screaming in the razorsharp pain. The corrupted captain laughed at his whimpering and continued slaughtering his loyal brothers. Luca took his sword of the Champion from the ground next to him where it had landed, and charged towards the corrupted one, returning the favor and swinging off his whole arm beneath the shoulderpath with a sharp and devastating attack, and landed another straight in his forehead, splitting his skull in half. Luca wasn't thinking clearly, he was disoriented and in shock. His naive image of a world of justice was completely shattered. He took the commanders arm and cut out the chainfist, and using the blowtorch of a fallen Techpriest on the battlefield, welded the fist onto his arm himself, screaming in the burning torment as the metal melted into his powerarmour and flesh, also burning the bleeding bloodvessels shut.
The loyal brothers hadn't witnessed all that happened during the battle, and to them it seemed Luca was the one causing the trouble, and they attacked him. Luca slaid them all, no normal spacemarine could stand before an Emperors Champion. Luca and the ones still loyal to him escaped to the Eye of Terror, and not much was heard of them after that. Only the sentence Luca said after being betrayed by his brothers and his Commander lived on:
-I will continue to fight the loyalists until i drown in their blood.
