Khorne, the gof of Blood, appeared next to his loyal warrior. In the eyes of Arachan, he saw his master as a 20 feet tall, armoured blood red daemon bearing huge two-handed chainaxe. Khorne told that he would spare his warriors life, but that it would have the cost Arachan was promised: his soul. Arachan wanted to continue his unholy quest of massacre and told Khorne that his spirit would belong to the Blood God for all eternity. However, even that wasnt enough to the vicious god, Khorne.
Khorne wanted to test his warriors will and picked the corpse of Arachan. He carried Arachan next to lonely Bloodletter, Tzim. Khorne dropped his chosen next to small daemon, and told that the Bloodletter was the spirit Arachan needed to survive. And Arachan suddenly realised what he had to do.
Taking off his bloodied helmet, Arachan attacked the daemon with his bare hands. He ripped off the limbs of daemon, eating them while killing the helpless daemon-servant of Blood. But Arachan was not spared entirely. For the daemon he had eated was pure warp, and so eternally bounded to Arachans soul. Right from the moment Arachan finished his "meal" he felt the unholy power of daemon filling his veins and battling with his old, original soul.
Khorne was happy, for now he knowed that Arachan would do anything for his god. He gave Arachan the huge two-handed chainaxe, Maic-azuuk, wich is still used by Arachan in his battles against the Emperor.
