The First Apocalyptic War: Part 1/5

Tämä on tarina, joka sijoittuu Maa- planeetalle vuonna 2045. Tarinaan on sotkettu mukaan hieman elementtejä Warhammer 40 000:stä. Toivottavasti pidätte tarinasta. Tällä tarinalla ei ole mitään tekemistä GW:n miniatyyripelien kanssa.

It all started during the winter of 2045.

The civil unrests in Russia were about to ignite into a full- scale civil war. The minorities of Russia had grown sick of all the racism and corruption of Russia and wished to change that. The military was ordered to silence these minorities, but when the task proved to be nearly impossible, the marshal of the russian federation, Grigori Igrits Shenkavi (Grimuts Aishlid Tadkuts by his real name, since in reality he was an ostyak, a member of an extremel hated minority that lived in the Ural mountains) made a pact with the leaders of the minorities and, using the full support of the military, couped the Kreml of it's power. After this, he declared himself the "Second Generalissimo" (the first one being Josif Stalin) and the "First Supreme Commander of Novaya Russia" (Novaya Russia is the reconstruction of the Federation of Russia that Grigori formed).
For three years, Novaya Russia flourished. It's miltary was modernized to a point where it nearly rivalled even that of the USA. It's economy grew far better than befor. The well-fare and the overall education of it's citizens was unbelievably good. Novaya Russia even had 100% employment. Grigori was praised as the best and wisest leader of Russia since Peter the Great.
Unfortunately, such good times were coming to an end.

The real reason why Grigori improved Novaya Russia that much was not because he wanted russians to be happy. It was so that he could create an excellent base to launch a military campaign of a scale never once witnessed before. The next mayor "improvement" he made was that all able- bodied boys of ages 16 and up would have to join the military for five years. After this, they could either continue to serve in the military or return back to civilian's life. One would expect that most of the young men would return back to civilian's life, but because of the five years of continuous brain- washing, nearly 98% of the men stayed with the army. There were some who expressed their concern about all this, but they were quickly silenced. Within ten years, Grigori had an army of over 180 million mindless, completely loyal soldiers, all under his direct control.

During the spring of 2055, when Grigori had just recently turned 42, he decided to give himself a birthday present: he launched his campaign. The russians invaded northern parts of both Mongolia and Kazakhstan and also conquered rest of the Sahalin from the Japanese Empire, where the "Choakumo shogunate" had begun a civil war against the current emperor Ukitarai. Russians also invaded Ukraine(though because of the majority of ukrainians had become "grimists", supporters of Grigori, Ukraine surrendered in three days and was integrated into Novaya Russia), Belarus (which fell in two weeks), Finland (which is still fighting against the russians, having preserved it's independence), Georgia (which was completely ravaged by the war in three weeks by the war, leaving very littel survivors) and Estonia (which was taken by complete surprise and conquered overnight).

After this, all of the Eats european countries either fell to a complete anarchy and terror, surrendered to the Novaya Russia immediately or fought and were conquered, except for Romania (which still holds it's main port cities) and Slovakia (which is in a similar state as Finland).

After the East Europe and the Baltic had fallen, Grigori turned his sight towards the rest of Europe, North Africa and, ultimately, the America. He left one third of the armed forces to his unquestining and utterly loyal second-in command, Nikita Utsayah Tsenyovich, and ordered him to start the phase 2 of his campaign: to strenghten the asian front and wait for the rest of the military to return from Europe...

Ja tarina on kuin suoraan vedetty EE:stä (EmpireEarth). En sitten tiedä kuinka kliseinen tarina se on, mutta siitä pelistä se on minulle tuttu.

Ihan kohtalainenhan tuo oli, toki ihan piruuttani on pakko sanoa etten tiennyt että on olemassa kaksi Viroa (Estonia). Toinen kun kaatui yhdessä yössä ja toinen taisteli vastaan toista viikkoa. Toiseksi, kuinka kauan tuosta kevät offensiivistä oikein on? Muutama viikko/kuukausi/vuosi? Se kun näytti unohtuneen. Muuten oikeen pätevää tekstiä, sen mitä minä tuosta ymmärsin ja luin.

Ja minun puolestani aivan sama onko tällä suoraan tekemistä 40k kanssa vai ei, näin hyvää tekstiin kun en ole vähään aikaan törmännyt. Jatkoa, ellei kellään vanhoista parroista ole vastaan sanomista.

Side note: Itselläkin joskus vuonna kukka ja keppi ollut tuo EE (kai se on vieläkin jonkun lootan pohjalla), mutta kyseistä tarinan tynkää tai sen tyylistä en kyllä muista. toki en kyllä niitä kamppanja hommia jaksanut pelatakkaan yleensä ensimmäistä kenttää läpi, jos sitäkään...

Hetkinen, olikos se se kun piti saada se yksi ukko sinne kaupunkiin jonkin auto avulla tai jotain... hmm....

juu otin tuon novaya russian empire earthista mutta muu on omaa mielikuvitustani. ei, tarinanalla ei ole mitään tekemistä 40k:n kanssa, mutta sen elementtejä, kuten "supersotilaita", psyykkisiä kykyjä ja mahdollisesti ehkä jopa alieneita tullaan tapaamaan

PS. nyt on tuo kaksi estoniaakin korvattu, eli se pitempään kestänyt olikin valko-venäjä

Koska Sotavasara on miniatyyripelifoorumi, ja se pätee myös Tarinat ja novellit -osastolla. Näin olleen alueen ohjeistuksessa on mainittu, että tarinoiden tulee liittyä johonkin miniatyyripeliin.

Jos tämä tarina ei liity jonkin miniatyyripelin taustamaailmaan, niin sillä ei valitettavasti ole sijaa tällä foorumilla.
