Ei niissä oikeastaan ole muuta kauheata kuin optioniden puute ja hevoset...

Parin yksikön statteja, en yiedä miten varmoja huhuja...

Alright, I still don't know what the marks are. There is a pretty good chance they are all the same apart from Tzeentch. So to make up for me not figuring that out...

Forsaken.
M6, 1+d3 attacks, chaos warrior statline, but comes with slightly less armor. Might not have frenzy like I previously said (either that or the 1 attack is a result of frenzy). Doesn't cost much more than a warrior.

Chaos knights.
Str. 4. Magic weapons come base. Magic weapons make them become Str. 5, and they can get lances. So str. 6 on the charge, 5 anytime else. Mounts are daemonic, cause fear.

Chosen
WS6. Not sure about the other stats. Eye of the gods table, roll 2d6. On a 2 they become stupid. On a 7 nothing happens. They rest are +1 stat boosts apart from rolling an 11 or 12. An 11 is cause fear, if they already cause fear they cause terror. On a 12 they get multiple boosts.

And ignore what I said about the new hero choice.

Hey guys, was lucky enough to get a peek into the book today for a bit.
Some stuff you might want to know (IIRC):

- Marks:
Khorne = Frenzy
Nurgle = -1 WS and BS for enemy when attacking or shooting the unit
Slaanesh = Itp, but ASF also for characters and I think Giants and Ogres.
Tzeentch = +1 ward save and +1 to cast if you are a wizard.

- Army rule IS re-roll panic.

- Gaze of the Gods table - you roll 2D6 in certain situations, which are:
Character wins a challenge (doesn't include beating unit champs however)
Character kills a large target
Trolls regenerate 2 or more wounds

- Characters can get Chaos Gifts aswell as Magic Items (much like how the
Vampire Powers work)

- Shaggoths are rare, there is no character choice.

- War Alter is IN!!! Sort of like a Chariot mounted Cauldron of Blood if you
will in that it is a chariot type model but gives benefits similar to the cauldron
some of which I'll look upon later.

- Next is me hanging my head in shame and defeat, Hrogarr, I am telling you
that your source was right about the Knights weapons (not about the steeds)
and I totally accept that you were right and I was wrong to question you.
Sorry again brother. So yea, that's Knights at S5 with magical attacks, or
at S6 with non-magical attacks, lance replaces the magic weapon.

On top of that, Chosen may roll at the start of the game and the War Alter
allows one unit per turn roll, as one of its benefits.

- Horsemen and Giants can now be marked, and Ogres can be marked too.
Oh, and Ogres have Chaos Armour


And Harry and Hastings, feel free to correct me if my memory does not serve
me correctly on these matters.

I only got a look at it from the local store manager 'cause I've been going
there for years and 'cause I play Chaos so it's unlikely that I'll get to look
at it again so what's there is it from me. Though the one thing I can say
is I think the gifts are 50pts per character and then on top of that magic
items for 50/100pts depending on whether its a hero or a lord as per the usual.

Yes roll as in on the Gods upgrade table, and I think the Knights have the magic weapon
basic and can swap it for the lance or something like that.

As far as the table goes, I think there was something like roll a 2 and something bad
happens, somewhere in the middle of the table there was a nothing happens result. 11 and 12 I think both allowed you to roll twice more to take two gifts. Didn't get much see at this though as it was the last thing I was looking at before "my time was up."

Itp means Immune to Psychology.

And there is still the Shaggoth special character even if there is no generic one.

I think Hastings confirmed that Horsemen do count toward minimum core (and why wouldn't
they) and speaking of Horsemen, one other thing IIRC is they are 14pts a pop.

@Hrogoff: I didn't get to look at the Forsaken. Sickened I was.

All looks about right from what I recall, also if a chaos troll regenerates more than one wound it can roll on the eye of the gods table, kind of represents it getting hacked open and then perhaps tentacles or some other mutation erupting from that wound.

This properly isn´t new news but Maelstrom games now has the new Warriors of Chaos Up for pre-order with a release date of the 18/10th

From what i have Over Herd from my local GW staff is that The New mortals are plane old Power houses in close combat, and damn near impossible to take down how ever they will have small numbers (Can you say Evil Fantasy Grey knights?) Not to mention the Warrior is the only model they have mentioned being redone. (And theres a hint a chaos dragon might be on its way as well....)

I covered some of this in my post already. Trolls get to roll on the table if
they regenerate two or more wounds at once. And the Gifts are for character
only, though I made that very clear.

The table is not as you said, effects aside, I know that 2 = stupid, 7 = nada,
12 = 2 more rolls.

Ja warrioreille ilmestyy erikseen ostetta sprue, josta saa tehtyä hilparit ja great weaponit..

NOT INCLUDED, I never said that. It will be available at a cost of £6 and will be released in November (the Great Weapon/Halberd sprue).

No ifs about this, a Giant CAN be marked and Khorne IS frenzy. There are
different effects for certain units like for example a Slaaneshi Giant gets ASF
whereas most units gain Itp. He may not have Frenzy therefore with MoK.

And just to clarify, if Trolls roll 2 on the table, nothing happens.

I think Archaon is still a level 2 sorceror. He is more or less exactly the same, except his mount is 1 wound. That, and he's about 200 points cheaper. There is also only one version of Archaon too.

And Wolfric the Wanderer is a challenging monster. In a challenge he gets something like +2 strength, and can reroll any to hits and to wounds. This one is probably a little more inaccurate than my other rumors.

I think it's:
- Chosen can roll at the start of a match on the eye of the gods table
- the war altar allows one unit per turn to roll on the eye of the gods table
- War altar has on top of that other benefits

mortalit saavat kuitenkin yhden vian,saman kuin Delffeillä: Special slotissa on liikaa valinnanvaraa,Chosenit on aina hauskoja käyttää,mutta lisäksi on ogreja,trolleja,mutantti warrioreja,Knighteja,Dragon-ogreja,
Raressa sama juttu.

Mutta toisaalta eihän se haittaa kun miettii,ainakin voi kokeilla erilaisia listoja ja käyttää niitä mistä itse eniten tykkää.

No he's on a 25mm x 50mm base just like all regular cavalry are.

I am wondering how this guy is based, cav base or 50mm base. Because if you rank him up like that he will be looking sideways...kinda odd.

Also reading all the rumours concerning the Knights, I am wondering what they look like. They should not overdo their lord, so mixed expectations about that.

Besides that, lovely model!

Cavalry base. This is just a Chaos Steed. The Knights steeds look similar.
