40K: WE Dreadnought Tergoth in action and its beginning

Imperial guardsmen were defending their positions against the howling chaos cultists that had risen on the world Salvil III. Guardsmen were hard pressed as the World Eater berserkers were amongst the attackers. "Make your shoot count and have faith in the Emperor!" Commissar von Richter shouted as he took command of the Imperial forces when a plasma shot killed the Imperial Guard Colonel Tretjakov. "Reinforcements, sir!" Trooper William from Salvil Regulars called his commissar. Commissar von Richter turned to look at the troops coming from the Imperial rear. The smoke on the battlefield made it difficult to make proper identification of the forces coming along the road, but they appear to be having red power armor. "It's the Angels of Blood to our aid. Praise the Emperor" some trooper shouted and ran to meet the Emperor's finest, only to be cut down by bolter fire from the dreadnought that was leading the incoming column. "By the Emperor, incoming hostiles on our six.Red Squads 2 and 4 turn and face rear. Green platoon engage enemy on rear." Commissar von Richter was giving commands to deal with this new threath.

The guardsmen died battling superior enemy on two fronts and there fate was doomed. Chaos cultists overran their positions supported by World Eater chaos marines. Commissar von Richter fell with dozen bolt pistol shots in his chest and back. When the Imperial forces were being beheaded the World Eaters turned on their allies and the cultists suffered the same fate as the Imperial troops had just moments before. Khorne does not care whose skulls get's gathered, only that skulls are taken counts.

Commisar von Richters final words were "why would Angels of Blood join with World Eaters in assaulting us?" The commissar was partly correct. It was a Bloodangel dreadnought that had lead the attack from the rear, but it was no bloodangel that controlled the machine. Bloodangel Captain Delron was the previous pilot of the dreadnought and he had fought for three hundred years for the Emperor in his dreadnought, but then he had met the Wordl Eater warband Khornate Decapitator's. Delron had fougth with his breathen and killed many berserkers that day, but then he came face to face with a aspiring chaos champion riding a daemonic juggernaut Captain Delron was cursed. Captain Delron struck the juggernaut with his dreadnought closecombat fist destroying the daemonic beast but it's spirit corrupted the loyalist dreadnought and took control of the machine turning against the Bloodangels fighting along it side. The confusion was enough for the Decapitator's to turn the tide and crush the puppets of the False Emperor. The daemonic spirit has control of the dreadnought but Captain Delron is still inside and knows all the dark deeds commited by his dreadnought. After the battle berserkers painted crude Chaos runes on top of the Bloodangel markings and dedicated the machine to Khorne. All Captain Delron could do was scream with no one to hear, except the daemon Junsha.
