Heissulivei! Kynäilin lyhyen ja ytimekkään taustatarinan omalle kaartille, jonka on tarkoitus toimia teemallisesti jatkona omalle, jo varsin isolle (7000+ pistettä) Blood Angels poppoolle. Poppoo osallistuu tällähetkellä stadin pelikaupan järjestämään, vastikään alkaneen Death World- nimiseen kamppanijaan. Tarinan on tarkoitus jatkua sitä mukaa, kun kamppanija etenee. Baal planetary defence forces 42th Division, or a less formally Baal's 42th is specialized in agressive drop tactics, like their astartes lords. That enables them to operate more swiftly than regular defence forces. They are exelent warriors recruited from the Baal itself and it's moons baal prime and baal secudus. some of them may have taken part in recruitment rites of blood angels! Recruits have to go trough 10 years of fierce training in combat and tactics before they get their very own blood drop pedant, whitch indicates that they have been accepted in service. It is considered as great honour to serve in ranks of baals planetary defence forces.

It was the third war on armageddon in 991M41 where the fate entered in the scene. Baal's 42th was taking off after narrow victory on planet, jumping in to the warp with their strike cruiser ”Call of Blood”. It was supposed to be regular and normal warp jump, but it was far from that. Something had gone wrong, they got caught in warp storm that destroyed their ship engines. Instead of arriving in baal's hi-orbit they ended up on collision course to planet that had no mention in imperial records. Collision was inevitable. There was no time to waste, ship had to be evacuate hastily which had its consequences, many died in this unfortunate accident, but still some of survivors managed to the planet's surfice. Baal's 42th now scattered on surface of unknown Death World without proper radio connections to get contact to the reinforcements. Struggle to survive has began!
