Finally started my infinity models! And I must say, they are very fun to paint!






and my Joan has gotten her first lair of paint painted.

Were those metal models? No flash to be seen, even and well spread colors make the figures look really clean and pretty. Only thing i would think that needed improvement was heir hair: it seems a bit... dull? i think is the word.

Nice small weathering effects on the boots too. Highlights on the armor were specifically good.

THX! Yeah they where metal, and the models had little flash.
Actually in person, the hair looks nice, it has 3 high lights on it, I think its how the light was shining that made it look dull.

Edit: oh yeah, in case you don't know the reference, in WW2 the germans used "bullet in the head" because they had to describe the last moments of the dead soldiers in the letters to their family, informing the family about the death. "Bullet in the head" was used in the most grievous cases, like being ground to pulp under tank tracks, or getting shot in the stomach in middle of the no-man's land and left behind

Hey, some small update on the army.

Finished my first fusilier







And started the sniper











And thats about it for now... Got a bad cut on my big finger at work, so cant paint for an entire month.....

For a month? Wow that's a bad cut, hope it gets better soon because your Infinity minis look great. I'm assuming the rest of the Icestorm box is coming next?

Its nit that bad, but bad. I work in a restaurant, so was using a mandolin https://www.google.ee/search?q=mandolin ... cgoddwwNYw
So while cutting some tomatoes, my hand slipped and I got my big finger, on my right hand, cut. So now I have 3 stitches, and its hard to paint such little detail.

He's finished? I feel there's still something missing. Finishing touches on the gun or something. Armor pieces are great.

I have the same feeling, but, hes is actually finished. I think its due the fact thats the other 2 models had skin colors on them, and this one dosent.

I still think the gun looks unfinished. I mean it looks kinda funny that you have highlights on the rest of the model, but not on the gun. The guy looks good though and you managed to paint pretty good eyes.

Thx. I think they are finished. The guns have a metal high light on them. I just think its the picture it self that makes it seem that there is no high light.

The guns overall have been lacking.

I mean, you could perhaps paint the ABS parts of the guns with darker shade of grey, and add some "focus spots" like lights or aimpoints.
F. ex with the latest guy, perhaps paint the inner barrel with lighter gray, and the surrounding area with darker color to bring out contrast, and paint the shell casings inside magazine with bronze?
