VideoDuring our first visit to New Zealand, one of the many surprises was Peter asking if we could spend a day teaching him how to make 54mm figures. Although Peter has sculpted in the past, for his early movies, they had been in a larger scale.
We had a fantastic (and unique) day and as you’ll see in the video Peter seemed to enjoy it too! It was only afterwards that we found out how unique, when we were told that this was the first day he had taken off in 8 years. In the video you will also see fellow sculptors, Brian Nelson and Gary Morley, two people from WETA and Alesio Calvatori on business from GW.
