Retribution soolot - Ajatuksia ja apua listan viimeistelyyn

Tervehdys arvon Sotavasaran Masiina-kansa.

I've been toying around with Retribution lately and got some minis, played some test games and now I'd have to decide what solos to buy at this point. What would give me most mileage for my money. First I go through what I already have, then my thoughts on all our solos and then some more argumentation. This is going to be long, be prepared!
So first what I already have. The core of my army is:
Vyros
Ravyn (ordered, but not received it yet)
- Phoenix
- Hydra
- Griffon
10x Invictors + UA
This all comes to total of 29 points. That's six points left for solos and stuff. I think this core is quite solid. Invictors are very hard with Vyros and have very long range with Ravyn. Hydra is obviously good with both of them and Phoenix really likes Vyros' mobility and Ravyn has some nice threat range extenders as well. Griffon is there to provide flank to Invictors and Vyros. It might get marshaled especially on Ravyns list.
But now, the solos. Six points left what to get? Here is my thoughts on our solo department (in order from the book):
Soulless escort: While technically not a solo I'll list him here as one now. He seems nice with all that anti-magic stuff helping Invictors out. How much do my ARM 19 Invictors fear magic? Enough to include one of these?
Arcanist: Well here is one nice solo. He can help with lacking focus and that damage puff is really good. I think I'll wield at least one of these.
Dawnguard Destor Thane: He has quite nice shooting but it's "only" Rat 7. There is still change to miss and missing with him means your four point model does nothing for a turn. Hard to crack, even more so when engaged but it's a bit shame that Gunfighter uses Rat when he's Mat is better. Also can't multi-fire when using lance. I also don't need he's commander abilities. What do you think?
Dawnguard Scyir: Of all the choices he seems to lack the most. Coordinated Strike is nice, but a regular Sentinel hit's harder if he doesn't have the flank. Also he's drive isn't that stellar. I think the Sentinel UA's Pronto is much better. Even more so when you remember that the marshaled jack doesn't get any goodness from battle group things. Sad, I like he's model.
House Guard Magister: Now this is one interesting fellow. He is one of the few things that can get a knockdown on something. He's range isn't anything that magnificent, even less so with Whip Snap and he isn't particularly tough either although Force Barrier makes him immune to blasts, which helps a lot. He's fists are good but not that awesome. Now what do you think, how much mileage I'd get from him?
Mage Hunter Assassin: She hit's like a truck loaded with tons of bricks. If she can hit. Against anything with decent to good Def it's a coin toss. He also dies from a bad look. She has excellent threat range though. Thoughts on how these girls would sit my army?
Ghost Sniper: Nice but maybe not nice enough. Dedicated opponent can kill these guys quite easily and their threat range isn't that stellar either. Again against average to good Def you stand with a sizable change to miss. That auto blinking three damage is nice but alone won't really hurt that badly and bringing to two take out a weak arc node a turn means an investment of four points. Also he can't Swift Hunter if sniping.
Eiryss, Mage Hunter of Ios: The power house of old good times. She seems good, have to admit that. Blasts will still kill her but that's about it. Her def is good enough to survive quite well. What makes her that monster she is is Disruptor bolt. Everything other is just the icing on a cake. How ever is that bolt worth three points and how would it fit my army? How often do you get to shoot a warcaster with this or is she more a psychological threat with whom the opponent has to deal with before she goes to town?
Eiryss, Angel of Retribution: First it looks that she forgot her Disruptor Bolts home but then you figure out that she now gets it also to her melee attacks. Yea! Same threat same, even a bit more survivability with Whiplash and shutting down jacks at close distance. She lost Phantom Seeker bolt, but how much did she gain? Opinions, is Angel better that Hunter and how would she fit in?
Fane Knight Skeryth Issyen: Dragoon, two attacks, monster of a weapon, Righteous Fury. Seems nice but then you look at the cost of five points and begin to wonder. I'm really out here. Is he worth of almost all of the army that I have left to take?
Nayl: Seems nice and has some definite uses but I think I'll pass him now because every time a look at him a see a 'jack or beast throwing him back to my ranks. At least he is cheap for quite a nice swing. Only one of them though.
Narn, Mage Hunter of Ios: Ah Eiryss' teacher. Sad she didn't teach him how to make those special bolts to the cross bow. He's mobile and acrobatic so he can usually get where he wants. I only have one question here. Are those P+S 11 sabers punchy enough for three points? Sure they have Arcane Assassin and Weapon Master but still.
Lady Aiyana and Master Holt: The mercenaries. First when I look that them they seem a bit .. squishy. Not too much, but a bit. Also do I need that many magic attacks? I already have quite a few from myrms and warcasters. Is there that many thing out there that are immune to normal things? Kiss of Lyliss is nice but then you are usually at retaliation range and there is still change to miss. Holt helps a bit in the squishiness department with quick draw. He also packs quite nice punch with better change to hit than example Destor Thane. What do you think, suitable or not?
Lanyssa Ryssyl: Now here we have one really interesting minion. She is just as squishy as A&H, and can gain stealth like them which helps. What is interesting is her collection of spells. Hunter's Mark doesn't have the best range and can miss but still it offers some help to out focus starving myrms. Also that +2" catapults them through the roof in speed. Phoenix with a threat range of 15"? Can do. Even Vyros with Mobility on does a running charge of 14". Not too shabby. Ice Bolt has exactly the some change in causing stationary that Magister has for knock down. She also has something for Legion with Winter Storm and her hatred. She seems quite a nice tool box solo. What do you think?
No there, all the solos I count. It lack Nyss Hunters and Dahlia & Skarath, but they are in different world when it comes to how much they cost.
Then what should I get? At the moment I'm leaning towards at least on Arcanist and Lanyssa Ryssyl. Is this wise path? Then it would leave me three points to spent. What should I get? What would you do in my place? Is there errors in my speculations?
Thanks in advance for all of the replies!
