Kirjoittele englantia ja kerro Jyrkiltä terkkuja, niin eiköhän juttua tule. Here in Saint Petersburg we hold a tournament of Warhammer 40000 (1500 fully painted pts) at 2-3 of september. There will be lots of people from other cities as well (mostly Moscow). Maybe there are some players in Finland who could be interested in arriving and taking place in this tournament? We will certainly help with accommodation etc. After all Petersburg is closer to Helsinki than to Moscow. I was in Poland recently on WHFB team tournament and met team Finland. But they said that they only play FB.
About tourney - the info for this is in Russian only for now. If the need arises we will certainly translate the rules etc on English.
Accomodation can vary depending on what the people will need. Hotel? Rent a small flat? People from Moscow for example are renting a flat for the whole company. It is not that expensive for 2 days and still lot of fun
There strictly no drinking During the tourney but what I saw in Poland it is quite important to have a good time in between
I should say that WH 40k is quite high level gaming in here. But still quite friendly.
We think that there will be about 40-50 participators. And the tourney will take place in the center of StPetersburg (near Nevsky Prospect actually not too far away from the bus arriving place - I mean the bus Helsinki-Petersburg which is the cheapest way to go). Train Helsinki-Spb cost about 50 euros one way but bus is about twice cheaper.
And for the start I think the tournament organizers can invite Finnish players with accommodations (so it will be free for them).
En tietenkään ota mitään vastuuta turnaukseen tai matkaan liittyvistä vastoinkäymisistä.
