Iron balls
----------
Description:
Slam the balls of iron into your opponents face!
Special instructions:
-You need a pair of iron balls, and markers for goal zones. Goal zones should be around 3-5" in diameter, and should be placed in the middle of the back of the deployment zones. Blazing fire pit straight from hell should do well.
The Iron Balls:
- An Iron ball follows the rules of stationary light warjack. It can only be moved by throws, slams or pushes. It cannot be damaged or knocked down (it's a ball after all). Any model suffering collateral damage from through Iron ball takes a boosted damage roll due to nasty spikes covering the Iron ball.
Setting up the game:
-Game should be played on a 24"x 48" table, with 20" deployment zones.
-No advance deloyment allowed.
-Both players place their Iron ball in the middle of the front line of their Deployment zone.
-Players roll to see who goes first.
Victory conditions:
-First player to get both balls into opponent's pit wins the game.
-If Iron balls end up in different holes, start a new round by setting up a new game: Damage does not reset, wrecks stay on table and casualties are out of game.
Special rules:
-Contest of Iron balls is brutal yet mostly peaceful show of power. It is generally non bloody game, so normally only warjacks are allowed to enter the arena. Warjacks have easier time in Ironballs game than in battlefield due to strict rules in the game, so they can generate focus on simple game moves by themselves. Every warjack generates one extra focus for themselves. All warjacks in game are autonomous, and can use all the focus they generate themselves.
Optional rules:
-If both players agree, the game can be played with normal troop selection. If warbeasts end up in the game, they may discard one fury fron themselves at the start of their maintenance turn, if there is no warlock allowed in the team.
-You could play the game with multiplayer elimination rules, and only one Iron ball in the game, but how could you have a pair then?
Multiplayer:
-In multiplayer scenario, any player getting a Ball into their pit is eliminated from the game. Create deplyment zones that could be considered fair. i.e. 4'x4' table with player in every corner.
